Um! H-Hello, everyone... [Colette might sound just a tiny bit sheepish as she talks over the journal. Have you ever been in that situation where something big happened in your life, but it was a private matter? And then you're not sure if you should be telling people that it happened, because it's not exactly something that comes up easily in casual conversation? So now the time has come that you actually have a question for a lot of people regarding this new development, BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Life is hard. So Colette sounds a touch... nervous as she regards the journal. It's definitely a good kind of nervous, but still. Nerves.]

Every year around the same time, a lot of people here celebrate a holiday called Valentines day! Its a holiday from Earth, I think, where people do special things for the people that they really care about.

[it's not coming up super soon, but still, two and a half weeks. That's soon-ish.] So! Um, I've celebrated the holiday before, but I was wondering... If you're suppose to do something different if there's someone that you really like, and they said that they like you too, and you might be... dating?

A fairy? [oh wow. that..... s-sounds kind of cute, but she feels like that wouldn't be constructive to say, haha]

W-Well, hopefully it won't last for much longer! It sounds like this might be a loss... and those normally end after one or two weeks.

Rise's eyes narrow, even though Colette can't see it.]

[Her voice is back to a playful tone.]

It's okay, I'm used to it! Not every day you get to see a gorgeous fairy! Might as well before I'm plain old Rise again.

[She's teasing, but it does help knowing that the whole situation is temporary. She should be back to normal soon enough. And she can find ways to have fun with it for now!]

[haha, Colette giggles a bit at that playful tone]

Oh, um... I guess that could be fun. Maybe we could go flying together!

[Wait... what?]

You mean you can fly? Like, normally?!

[That's literally all she can get out, but that sounds so cool!]

Mm hm. I normally keep them hidden, but I have wings. [honestly, it's not something she talks about often, but she doesn't want Rise to feel strange for having wings, or anything like that... so she hopes it's a good thing]

I kinda wish I could keep mine when I go back to normal. But I can't really hide them, so they'd probably just get in the way a lot.

Oh yeah... you'd have to cut a lot of holes in your clothes, that might be strange.

And whenever I fly around, I glow! I don't know if that's the wings or just being a fairy, but I can't wait for that part to be over too.
