Have you ever been in that situation where something big happened in your life, but it was a private matter? And then you're not sure if you should be telling people that it happened, because it's not exactly something that comes up easily in casual conversation? So now the time has come that you actually have a question for a lot of people regarding this new development, BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Life is hard. So Colette sounds a touch... nervous as she regards the journal. It's definitely a good kind of nervous, but still. Nerves.]

Every year around the same time, a lot of people here celebrate a holiday called Valentines day! Its a holiday from Earth, I think, where people do special things for the people that they really care about.

[it's not coming up super soon, but still, two and a half weeks. That's soon-ish.] So! Um, I've celebrated the holiday before, but I was wondering... If you're suppose to do something different if there's someone that you really like, and they said that they like you too, and you might be... dating?

[it wasn't bs in her eyes, not really. In a sense, she really does believe that's the truth. Lloyd wants to believe in Joshua, but Joshua can just be... not scary, but unpredictable. But hes delayed from saying anything like that by his question]

No, you're my friend. [she almost says it as if she doesn't quite understand the question, like she wonders if it's some sort of trick question]

And when did you decide that, anyway?

[mm, when indeed. They've known each other for years now...]

One afternoon when we had ice cream together.

[it's a vague answer, because in actuality she doesn't know the date. But a long time ago, when he thought that she was his sister. Nostalgia? Mm... maybe. Although I wouldn't want to do something that we've done a lot, Lloyd might get a little bored.

You worry too much. The woman shouldn't have to figure all this out. Just wear something cute, and let him handle the rest. Or is he not a gentleman?

But I would feel bad if I made him plan everything. I like helping, and it would be fun to think of something that he'd really enjoy!
