Um! H-Hello, everyone... [Colette might sound just a tiny bit sheepish as she talks over the journal. Have you ever been in that situation where something big happened in your life, but it was a private matter? And then you're not sure if you should be telling people that it happened, because it's not exactly something that comes up easily in casual conversation? So now the time has come that you actually have a question for a lot of people regarding this new development, BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Life is hard. So Colette sounds a touch... nervous as she regards the journal. It's definitely a good kind of nervous, but still. Nerves.]

Every year around the same time, a lot of people here celebrate a holiday called Valentines day! Its a holiday from Earth, I think, where people do special things for the people that they really care about.

[it's not coming up super soon, but still, two and a half weeks. That's soon-ish.] So! Um, I've celebrated the holiday before, but I was wondering... If you're suppose to do something different if there's someone that you really like, and they said that they like you too, and you might be... dating?

[Nothing much. She just kissed two people she really shouldn't have, both leading to unexpected feelings about both, while the one person she had hoped to kiss had left while she was in the DZ ignoring the journals, so she never knew he cared for her. Until she came back.

[Okay. Now's the time for Sheena to come clean. To admit to what a fool she's been and tell Colette what had happened. To get this weight off her chest and maybe figure out what to do to correct her mistakes.

Yep, that's exactly what she needs to do. Colette's her friend; she won't judge her or make her feel bad. Instead, she'll try to help. Coming to a decision, she replies.]

Sorry. There's really nothing wrong. I guess I'm still trying to figure out all these holidays. One right after the other here.

[OLD HABITS DIE HARD, OKAY? Besides, she doesn't want Colette worrying about her and ruining her own happiness. THAT'S NOT A COOL THING TO DO.]

[COLETTE CAN SMELL YOUR BS A MILE AWAY, SHEENA.... After all, you're on Colette's turf right now. So she's quiet for a second, before she asks]

Okay, if you say so. But... could you make me a promise?

[She's gonna have to work on that. Maybe some potpourri. Or a different perfume...

Aw, man, Colette. That's cheating! Hitting her in the "promise" area! And Sheena looks warily at the journal as she replies.]

Yeah, that's what it is. And yeah. What's the promise?

That if anything is bothering you, or if you feel sad about something... that you'll let me know. It wouldn't be bothering me, and it would make me happy! After all, I would be sad if I knew that you were unhappy and by yourself.

[Maaaannn, Colette. She sighs quietly.]

You know, don't you?

[It's either ask her that, or make the promise, then break it immediately.]

... You're acting like I would if I was trying to hide something.

[Man, for a ninja, she sure sucks at times at hiding things.]

Guess I'll have to do better next time.

[Because yeah, there WILL be a next time.]

N-No! You shouldn't be afraid to talk to us, Sheena. Really... We're friends.

And I know you're my friend, that Lloyd is my friend...

[All this pain over kissing people. But one literally did get hurt when a nutcracker beaned him in the head.]

Yes. [she says that steadily, seriously, and without hesitation]

[Give her a second to screw her courage, Colette, because she's about to say something that she really doesn't want to.]

I've been an idiot.

[she waits in silence until Sheen speaks]

Everyone does things that seems stupid. [she doesn't want to so quickly agree that her actions are stupid, not until she hears it]

No, this was stupid! I put one friendship in trouble and lost another!
