[Sunny blinks as she steps into the darkened tent, momentarily disoriented as her eyes adjust. However, when she's able to see again she's quite surprised at what she sees. Instead of a gypsy tent, as she had been expecting, she seems to be in a large room in what appears to be a castle. But that simply doesn't make any sense at all. It must be some trick of the light or illusion or something. She turns around to brush the tent flap aside and go back outside and finds that there was no longer a tent flap to brush. All there's behind her is an open door leading out to a very snowy courtyard.

She pushes some of the hair out of her face, trying to get a better look around her - this false beard is becoming increasingly inconvenient. At a complete loss she sighs]

Pietrisycamollaviadelrechiotemexity.

[Which, of course, means "I must admit I don't have the faintest idea what's going on." Sunny pauses, looking around. In her confusion she had forgotten that she was in disguise as Chabo the Wolf Baby, a fearsome child who only speaks in growls. She clears her throat and adds a soft]

It is a long story, Sunny. But things do not seem to get easier for us. You are safe here though. Even if you once said 'the last safe place is safe no more'.

VFD? ["A volunteer? Like the Volunteer Fire Department?"

Wait, what? Sunny gives Violet an even more quizzical look.]

Nodit ["But I haven't said that. What are you talking about?"]

He's Jacques' brother. As well as Kit's, but I suppose you've not met Kit, yet.

[She takes a slow breath.]

Sometimes this happens here, Sunny. People come from different times. You didn't say that, yet. But one day you will, and it will be a very sad day.

[She shakes her head, not knowing who this Kit person is.

But... different times? That doesn't make any sense at all. What are you talking about, Violet? You're confusing your little sister!]

Temporal. [Which translates to, "But how can we be from different times? That doesn't make any sense. How do you know what I'm going to say?"]

[She strightens the clothes on Sunny and pulls her into a hug. It's good to have her here.]

The Castle just takes people at different times.

[She gladly hugs her sister back, happy that she's not alone in this crazy place... Even if she doesn't understand it.]

Docwho. [or, rather, "we're from different times? How did we get here?"]

No one knows. They say the Castle did it. It brought us here, and it takes things from us. [But the Castle only managed to give her something this day.]

[She frowns slightly as she tries to absorb all this information. It really is a lot to take in even for a very clever 2 year old like her.]

Larceny? [which of course means "It takes things from us? What kinds of things? Why does it take them?"]

It takes things important to us. It took my ribbon. For some people, it takes memories.

[The mention of something important makes Sunny realize one very important thing that she hadn't asked yet. She WANTS to say "Klaus" which, of course, would mean "Is Klaus here, too?" Unfortunately, however, when she opens her mouth to say his name no sound escapes her lips.

She frowns and tries again. Nothing.

Frowning even further she sighs]

Frere? ["Is our brother here?"]

No, Klaus isn't. [Violet bundles her little sister in her count.]

I'm going to take you to my apartment, Sunny. You have a room in the Castle, but it isn't safe. I have a shop and a small apartment in the town. It's not much, but it can be home here.

[She still doesn't understand everything... Including why she can't seem to say either Klaus or Violet's names... But going home with her sister is the best idea she's heard.]

Family. [which obviously means "we can live like a real family again."]

I hope so, Sunny. [She bundles her a little tighter before walking toward the door and heading outside.]

We'll manage like we always have.

[She smiles and gladly holds onto her sister as they walk]

Gaynor. [Which of course means, "We've survived some very difficult things in the past. As long as we have each other we can make it through anything."]

[Journal? Why should a journal be important?]

Anfrank? [Or rather "Why should I bring a journal with me? I can't write well enough to document my travels."]

You can speak into it, and others can speak back.

[She gives her sister a sceptical look until she remembers that she'd heard her voice before she saw her. At first she thought it had been mechanical but to learn it was a JOURNAL?]

Howdo? [which of course means "but how does it work?"]

You open it and speak into it. People will speak back. Or write.

[Sunny still looks quite confused at the notion of a talking journal]

tactided? [or rather "But how do you speak through a journal? It doesn't have any speakers."]

I actually do not know how it works. I have looked through it. It's just a book.

[Magic is the only thing she can think of, but doesn't want to say.]

[Just a book? But you can't talk through books. She gives her sister an incredulous look]

I know how it sounds. And I have no explanations for it.

[Sunny makes a thoughtful noise, staying silent for a moment]

Mystery. ["It certainly sounds like a mystery, like many other things around here."]

Something no one's really figured out, yet. They said it's magic. Like most of the castle.
