[ The Tower was almost complete. It was time to do some serious moving, then. He had a lot of lab equipment to be moved, not to mention suits. And the only good way to move all of that was with his own.
So today would see Tony Stark, donning his Iron Man suit, lugging around huge piece of machinery and the occasional other Iron Man suit from his room in the tower to the more modern one he was finishing up in the city. Smaller items he flew out from his room, but the larger stuff was packed up and dragged out through the lobby.
At one point, carrying a few workbenches over his shoulder, he pauses in the lobby, witty remark coming to him. And with Tony, he can't resist witty remarks. He has to share them.
He cracks open his journal. ]
All right. The first person to start up a U-haul company will have my immediate backing. Get it started in the next 30 minutes and I'll throw in a free pizza.
Because really, this is a pain in the ass.
[ Open over the journals or in person. Might run into him in the city, too, or at the Avengers Tower if your character happens to be in the area. ]

Pretty sure there are crickets. ]

It's a company. They rent out giant trucks for moving a lot of stuff at once.

If somebody else made one, though, that's a whole different story.

You know, most girls want a pony, and they still never get it. But you have a unicorn. Congratulations, you've one-upped every girl who has ever lived.

Tony Stark
I guess I could help you carry some shit, if you'd be willing to look into it for me.
This dude
After the other stuff I need to do.
But hey, free help. Come on down, et cetera.
Tony Stark
[Church grumbles but is good on his word. He trudges down to help Stark haul the heavy crap over to his new place. Not that he was exactly expecting just how heavy his heavy crap is.]
This dude
[ Tony will be waiting in the lobby, decked out in his Iron Man suit. He's got a few things hauled down from his room already - giant mechanical arms, large steel plates, that sort of thing. Don't ask why he has it all. ]

[Actually, he does appreciate that. It's been a while since he had a good snark thrown at him. Snark was practically the only language spoken in the Gulch.]
I meant how many items are on this "other" list of yours. Should I be expecting to wait until next year for you to get around to it or what?
[Church scans the pile of junk already assembled in the lobby.]
Jesus, how much shit do you have? I mean, what the fuck is that thing even for?
[he points to the giant arms.]

And that? [ He looks at a mechanical arm. Thankfully unpowered atm. ] We don't talk about that.
no subject
[He shrugs. "We don't talk about that" invariably meant a good story but honestly, he didn't care enough to press on it.]
So, what am I taking and where?
no subject
[You haul? You hall? Ewe haul? He keeps trying to make the word make sense but...no.]

That's crazy talk.

[He tilts his head. Wait. Wait. Don't tell him.]
Maybe it's different in your world, though.

So, your gods are that active on Earth?

She waits at the tower, though, with a glass of water for him.]
You should hydrate.
no subject
Thanks. Despite all appearances, this actually is quite a bit of work.
[ If only it was alcoholic... although today, that'd end up being water anyway. Drat. ]

I see that. Lots of lifting. You're doing a very good job. [She's being a smart ass.]

[Meanwhile, he's going to dig the Apocalypse armor out of the piles of meaningless crap he'd wished for to cover it in his closet. About 10 minutes later, a young man with gray skin will wander down to the lobby, clad in blue, Egyptian-looking armor. At first glance, it doesn't really look like much, save for the cables leading from the back to elbows, and the fact that Evan's red eyes are glowing eerily.]
Mr. Stark?

Awww, it's a real shame to see you go.
[He does not sound sad. He sounds the complete opposite of sad]
