[ Nymeria startles to her feet. Arya moves between them so Nymeria sees her. ]

Down! Down...!

[ With an almost human sound of complaint, Nymeria lies down in the snow. Her ears twitch at every sound. Satisfied she won't run off, Arya pets her and walks to the house. ]

Where shall I put it?

[ Slipping past Zelos, she heads for the stairs. ]

[....Yep. Still the same old Nymeria. Maybe it's the fact he's so very used to Noishe, but he'll only spare Nymeria a second glance before heading inside]

She's gotten big.

She almost killed Rabbit from fright. But we were all scared then.

Rabbit? You have a rabbit now?

[He'll lead them into the dining room. Everything in the room was clearly handcrafted and carved with the ceiling and walls painted to resemble more of the sky. Or something. It's been awhile since I've read the description]

No. He is a rabbit. Bigger than you. His name is Bunny, but that's a stupid name so I call him Rabbit. Something attacked me the other night. He fought it and then Nymeria showed up and then everything went to all seven hells, but we escaped.

[ She looks around. ]

- Whoa, wait back up. What attacked you?

Some creature. I thought it a wolf at first, but it looked more like a man. Like a man and a wolf mated and that was what came out.

A wolf and a man...? [Never heard of that before!]

[ She nods. Arya drops the bag of tiles on the table and sets the board next to it. ]

It never got close enough. The animals didn't let it. Have you had chocolate? Rabbit makes chocolate eggs. He lets me have as many as I want.

[ Before she takes off her cloak, she produces a Rubik's cube from one of the interior pockets and holds it out. ]

My friend has one like it. You're supposed to get every side the same color. I could only ever get one side one color. She can do it in no time. She's got a harder one now that I can't solve at all. You can try it if you want while I set this up. If you like it, you can keep it.

Chocolate? Sure I've had that- never chocolate eggs though.

You can ask him for some. Tell him I said you could. They're really good. You can paint them, but I eat them as they are. They're not really eggs. They're chocolate all the way through.

[ as she talks, she spills out the tiles and sorts them out for the two players. She sets up a screen in the middle of the board. ]

You have to put the screen up first so the other person doesn't see how you build your territory. The aim is to kill the opposite king. Whoever does that wins. That's why you have to set up your defenses well. Like the mountains? [ She holds up a carnelian tile. The rest of the tiles, all carved from different semiprecious gemstones, are carefully organized by type. ] These are impassable except to dragons. So you can't put more than two in a row so you don't cheat and make an impassable barrier around your king.

Why would you paint chocolate? [HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND]

[And he tries to listen to all the rules, nodding along] Okay, got it.
