[3] 57 Days Until Easter

[Filtered to the Groundhog]

I'm not even surprised you haven't shown your furry ugg face here, you useless bludger. Seriously, you have one job all year. You don't have to hide eggs or deliver toys or give the ankle biter's dreams. Even the Leprechaun has more to do than you, and all he does is make people hit the turps and get them to wear green. You know what your job is? TO HAVE A BLOODY SHADOW. Guess what else has a shadow? EVERYTHING. All you have to do is stand behind a bloody rock or something and bam, one hidden shadow. And they eat it up like you're the best thing since sliced bread.

And you still get all the credit for Spring, even when you're a no-show. Streuth, I'd like to job you one right in the face, you drongo furry lemon.

[So reluctantly, so very very reluctantly. God, he hates being the only Holiday Representative here. He does not have the right personality to carry it for the team]

Happy Groundhog day, I guess. Whatever.

Most kids would believe anything an adult told them.

Yes they are. [Not that he'd ever had to try very hard to figure that out. His parents had only tried it one time before he'd figured it out. It hadn't been hard. They'd autographed their eggs.]

[Better not to mention the part where his father had decided to turn the eggs into a test of Shinichi's developing detective skills.]

And what kind of world are you from?
deductiongeek: (ahaha seriously)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-15 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Considering the variety of places called Earth represented in this castle? That doesn't mean much.
deductiongeek: (the old man did it again)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-16 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
...Of course. As if this place wasn't ridiculous enough.
deductiongeek: (ignoring you)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-16 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
My opinion is the same every time I meet someone who is fictional in my world.
deductiongeek: (must I?)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-17 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't have much use for that. [He only needed as much imagination as was needed to be able to recreate a crime scene.]
deductiongeek: (stubborn)

Detectives need to train themselves to work only with facts.
deductiongeek: (ahaha seriously)

You can't just stop being a detective.
deductiongeek: (smug brat)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-20 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course. Everyone dreams.

[Though his own dreams tended to turn into nightmares.]
deductiongeek: (too early)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2013-02-22 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Dreams are nothing more than a natural function of the subconscious mind. Their purpose is to allow retention of new knowledge and to integrate new experiences through the stimulation of the mind in REM sleep. Imagination has nothing to do with it.

I saw a program about it on television.
