Gooooood morning, Paradisa. Your resident mechanical genius Seamus Zelazny Harper, here. Did ya miss me? Of course you did. Stupid question. Now. Some of you'll remember me offering my many different talents in engineering and mechanics. That's still open, and the first one's still free.

Hey. Sorry I disappeared on ya, there. Your body's ready. That two-week stint let me finish the balancing in one leg, too. I've even got the instruction manual set up.

[see he wasn't worried... he's just angry. It wasn't worry that had him visiting Harper's door and checking on him. It was just annoyance. And it's sure as hell not relief that has him almost miss the next part.]

[He's going to make himself as transparent as possible and get his ass over to Harper's room without being seen.]

[He checks the hall to make sure no one is around before shouting at the door]

KNOCK KNOCK Motherfucker!

[He hopes that counts because he's not standing out in the hall any longer than he has to. He steps through the door.]

[And Harper's working on something at one of the workbenches he has set up.]

Body's over there. [Jerks a thumb over his shoulder.] With the instruction manual.

[He looks down at the body just laying there, it's him. He expected it to look like him, that's what he asked for... but he wasn't quite ready for how real it looks. It looks just like him. Like he's either dead or asleep. It's kind of creepy to be honest. Looking down at yourself like this.]

So... uh, does it need to be switched on or anything?

[He looks at the instruction manual that he can't pick up and then over to Harper.]

It's charged. It just needs an AI loaded into it and the wake-up command sent.

[Sorry, Church, he's busy working on his thing. He hasn't noticed you're all ghost-y.]

I had to run the basic operating system from Commonwealth Gyroids, so it might feel a little strange. I used Rommie's OS as a basecode.

I'm a ghost not a fuckin' AI... so unless you have one laying around.

[He grumbles, he doesn't need any AI bullshit right now. He's a motherfucking ghost.]

[He grumbles and gets in the robot. It takes a few seconds to settle in and figure out what's going on. Like, what the hell a wake up command is. Then he's looking at the ceiling. He blinks a few times and slowly sits up.]

Woah...

[it does feel a bit weird. With his old body he didn't have to think about what he was doing, it just happened. Everything feels like it's lagging just a bit. Like talking to someone in another language you're not really fluent in, waiting for your brain to translate things.]

[Engineering and mechanics? This has caught Blues' ear. As much as he doesn't like to admit it, he knows there may come a time when he may need some repairs again.]

A mechanic, good to know there's one around.

What kind of work do you normally do?

What can you engineer?

Anything you want. I just built an android capable of housing an intelligent AI in a month, and that's not bad considering I didn't have access to a Commonwealth machine shop.

Robotics, Engines, Time Bridges... I can do anything.

I loaded in a basic translation protocol, it'll help with your matrix synching with the Vedran OS.

That's where you all brought back that disease that made everyone psycho, right? Hope you guys got decontamination showers.

Anything? That's a pretty big claim.

I can't say I need any help right now, but knowing there's someone with knowledge in robotics is a relief. With my luck here so far, I may have to take you up on that offer sooner or later.

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair. Pauses and does it again. He can feel it, the texture of the hair with his hand and movement of the hairs themselves. He has hair again.]
