Once again, I'm left to express that we are without the charms of a fellow resident. To those who have missed her company, Veteran Mercenary Echidna-- and Kenta-- have seemed to return home.

[She has to add the snake in. Because... well. Reasons.]

It's been a year. At the risk of sounding apathetic, I really don't feel very special.

I had a friend recently go home to. His name is Spike and he's a little purple dragon. I'm gonna miss that kid so much.

Anyway, my point is, I know what it's like to lose a friend. Not in a dying sort of way, obviously, just in this weird castle way.

Being friends with a dragon must have been pretty cool. [How does she... children? Anyway, she's sure at the age she sounds, a dragon friend would be bad ass. That's a thing, right?]

Yeah, it's weird how it just... happens.

You have no idea how cool it was. I mean, it's one thing to know a dragon. It's another thing to be best bros with them and hang out and stuff.

But I guess when it's their time, it's their time. Again, not in a death way, even if it kind of sounds like it.

I had only meant that I don't feel differently in regards to being here for so long. The fact that many people don't seem to stay very long makes staying here an entire year something of a "big deal"... but really, it's just another day, in my opinion.

Kenta was typically the snake. Echinda was not actually an echidna, but an elf. [That name though!]
