[ Kaito is bored again. That means some of you are going to end up pranked. But maybe you can catch him on a step stool right outside someone's room with a wrench and curiously wearing a raincoat. Step too close and you'll find out why he's wearing a raincoat. ]

I've taken it upon myself to liven the place up by planting a special present out side the hall for all those I thought would have the best reaction. If you're a detective and I know you're a detective, you probably received this special gift I've just now perfected. Also, I gave some people I don't know yet the same gift. Consider it an ice breaker.

((ooc: Kaito has installed a few more motion sensored sprinklers-only this time they're hanging over doors. Try and get in or out of a room with one above the frame you might get soaked. Because he's found how to put them on the soak.

If you want your character to get drenched then just assume he put one over their door.))

[ Somehow, Kaito dropped his journal and you can hear the sound of his card gun firing off at random-he must not a real target in mind. ]

HOW COME THEY CAN FLY!? FISH ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FLY!

[ Kaito has been far too well behaved during this trip and right now he's bored. There's nothing exciting happening so once everyone stops for a rest the magician move around the area in a circle. He pauses here and there to touch the ground or inspect braches that hang over on trees. ]

[ He won't do anything to obnoxious, everyone here is probably exhausted and ticking them off or making them lose energy would only waste time. Instead he'll settle for setting up some confetti mines-if someone steps on them confetti will shoot up into the air... bio-degradable confetti of course. ]

[ Once he's done he moves back over to a low hanging branch to sit and wait. Or talk to his neighbor, he's a friendly guy. ]

Yo Paradisa!

I'm a little sore about losing my voice last week and I thought the hallways were too boring so I fixed that for you in order to cheer myself up.

I didn't get all the hallways, that would ruin the fun but what I've done is pretty simple, I've rigged some sprinklers with motion sensors. I think you can figure out what happens next.

[ Kaito is Mr. Grumpy face today as he shovels down spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream in hopes that it'll make him feel better. ]

[ No. It isn't working but at least the ice cream is yummy. ]

[ Try talking to him. It'll make his day. ]

(( ooc: Kaito is experiencing a loss. From now until next Wednesday Kaito will be mute. Expect a lot of gesturing because he's a very animated guy. ]

Seems like the Castle's a busy place here lately. Since our capable detectives are distracted with a murder I thought I might try and assist in trying to handle the Clinic fiasco. Especially since one of those capable Detectives are locked inside.

Any information anyone can give me regarding this 'House' person?

[ There is a loud explosion that comes from room 1816 in Stasis Tower. The door suddenly opens and the magician behind it stumbles out of the room coughing and letting a thick clouds of smoke stream from said room. ]

[ His Journal was laying, open on his bed the whole time, too. So you may have heard the explosion over that. ]

(( ooc: Kaito is blowing things up with experiments. :| ))

[ Kaito's voice sounds particularly grumpy today. ]

Oh sure. Let's stick the insomniac with twins. That will end well for everyone. I'm not even gonna ask why they look like me- I feel like I'm probably better off not knowing-especially since they... also resemble someone else. [ You can't see it but he's blushing. ]

Ah.. anyway, anyone know anything about twins? Because that has never crossed my mind to be a good research topi- [ Somewhere in the background is the sound of a door opening ] ... Oi... [ The changes in his voice suggest that he's turning away from the journal. ] Where'd your sister go? [ A moment of silence and then- ]

Damn it! [ He shuts the journal with a snap. ]

[ If you're wandering through the halls you just might happen across the teenage magician now suddenly a father carrying around a small boy that looks the mirror image of his dad, like a football. Because this is clearly how you carry small children. ]

Have you seen a little girl come through here? Looks a lot like him- [ He indicates the boy by lifting his a little. ] Longer hair and wearing a pink dress?

[ This voice might be unexpected to the few who know Conan's real secret. ]

To anyone who helped in the search for Conan-kun, I'm sure you've heard from Conan-kun himself that he's back now, in one piece and perfectly safe. It turns out Kaitou Kid never really had him in the first place-I'm not sure what he was playing at but I know this much-if you bothered to figure out even a portion of his notice you fell right into his trap.

If you attempted to unscramble the mix of words following the cipher in the post script of the notice then you should have revealed the message 'Congratulations detective, you have found the distraction.' he made it out that this was the distraction but there was a lot more to it than that as this was possibly one of the most important parts of the notice.

In the notice itself he said he'd be in the library but instead prepared another notice with the same cipher as before bearing the hint to go back and retrace your steps. I'm sorry to say it you tried to figure out that last notice then misinterpreted what he meant by 'retrace your steps.'

The truth is that when he put that in the notice it meant to go back to the original cipher and do it over again, and if you were to do that you'd still get the message 'Congratulations detective, you have found the distraction.' Meaning, of course, that the whole thing was a distraction and if you so much as attempted cracking the code on the notice you wasted your time.

There was another part on the notice stating to disregard a portion of the page leading us to believe the top part was irrelevant when in actuality the entire thing all except for the part I just stated was pointless.

Kid's never been guilty of kidnapping before, I should have known something was up the moment I heard he'd made that announcement.

((ooc: Kaito is pretending to be Shinichi at the moment to clear out any kinks and suspicions that might have arisen. Also rubbing it in your face. But that's hidden. ))

[ Kaito is starting to think he could get very used to this castle. He's been through the library, kept a close eyes on thing go on around the castle, cause chaos with the announcement he made with Kid, made up a fun new way to keep the detectives busy for a few days at least, and he had access to technology. ]

[ During his first few days here he'd spent some time in a bad mood as Hakuba Saguru somehow ended up his roommate. And then he was gone. Where the Hell had he gone? Obviously this required some investigating. ]

Lost: 1 Stuffy Roommate/Detective.

Blond, about six foot (a little under) half-Japanese, half-British, very annoying, usually wears a suit, and goes by the name of Hakuba Saguru.

If found please return to 1816 Stasis Tower. That or lock him in a closet and I'll get him later.

[ You can catch Kaito hanging up these fliers down the halls, in the kitchen, just all over the place. ]

It has come to my attention That you all have not Had a real puzzling Case in quite some time. I have plEasing news for you all as I haVe taken it upon myself to leave you with a fun little puzzle. And, so you are all aware, hidden somewhere is a Distraction. I sincerely hope you don't waste too much time on it.

You may have Noticed that the chIld by the name of EdoGawa has gone missing and, for some of you this isn't at all Surprising and more of an everyday occurRence. There's no cause tO worry as I have him safe and sound. The two of us have faced off enough that I feLt he would have had an Unfair advantage. For this reason he is to stay with me for a time.

Please disregArd a portion of this notice.

When evening dawns on the twelfth day of the stubborn month I shall make my appearance and steal your attention away long enough for the laws of physics to break once more.

I know I said I was pretty awesome magician-but I guess I can't expect you all to believe me, can I? So in light of this I've found a room spacious enough to give you all an awesome show. All of my magic is sleight of hand and nothing you see tonight is accomplished with the real thing.

Now, obviously, I can't go showing off my skills for free so Children and Cute Girls get in free and for everyone else? The price of admission will cost you one chocolate bar. The show's on Saturday in the evening at seven. [ Insert room location here ]

[ Just as Kaito said, he's in the lobby practicing a few simple tricks. He did say this was only a preview so he won't be doing anything he thinks is extravagant. Things like making doves appear, card tricks, making flowers appear, and several other tricks. ]

[ Kaito isn’t one to trust easily so after some extensive research and sneaking around here and there and he’s more informed of his situation he finally decides to test out this journal thing by introducing himself-writing rather than speaking. ]

So, the gist of this place is that we can have whatever we want for a small price we may or may never find out was taken from us? I don’t know... I’d hesitate to call that Paradise. Either way, seems like I’ll be staying here-completely against my will- for awhile, so I’ll try not to make enemies out of all of you.

I’m Kuroba Kaito. I don’t like to brag too much but I’m a pretty awesome magician. I also happen to hold the title as the biggest trouble maker at my school. In light of this, I’d like to know who among you can take a practical joke and who might killed me if I land on their bad side.
