Dictated/Action

[ John is standing in the middle of the lobby with a pie in this hand. It's just a normal blueberry pie, but for some reason John looks ecstatic about it. He's got his journal open on a table next to him, but he's also walking up to random people who happen to be trying to just pass through like normal people and asking them to offer him the pie.

Yes, the pie he himself is holding, he wants you to offer it to him!

After a little bit of this though he does move back over to his journal to jabber away into it. ]

You guys! This is amazing. I don't know what happened, but for some reason my loss is gone! This stupid loss I have had for years is finally gone!

[ He'll probably be less excited when he realizes he's got a new loss instead, but let him have his day. ]

Whenever someone tried to offer me anything like cakes or cookies or pies I always had to eat them even if I didn't want to! And I pretty much never wanted to. It was so dumb.

--ehehehe. Do you want some pie now, John? I could wish you up a nice blueberry one.

[ And then he's laughing at that. Man that feels awesome to be able to say. ]

Actually the pie I have right now is blueberry.

I have three french fry pies.

Not as delicious as it sounds like it could be.

Yeah, I have seen some really weird pies today. Are the french fries still good though if you take them out of the pie?

Ummm. How do you feel about soggy french fries?

Yep! I thought maybe if I made my wishes suuuuuuuuuper specific.. but nope.

What if you asked for a french fry pie with non-soggy french fries?

I tried that! No dice.

[ Pause. ]

So your loss went away? Just like that?

I guess so! I mean, it's not like a lot of people were offering me foods I didn't want every day, so I am not totally sure when it went away, but it definitely isn't here anymore.

I'd like to get rid of mine.. mostly because I have no idea what it is, and that drives me nuts.

You haven't figured out what your loss is yet?

Nope. I can still shoot and use my powers and everything. Whatever it is, it's not obvious.

Do you think maybe it was a memory then? A lot of people lose those.

.. seriously? How am I supposed to figure out if I'm missing a memory??

Well... we can just make a list of everything important to you that we both know about, and if I remember something you don't then maybe it was that?

It'll work! We just need to write it all down, and also all the important events in your life so we can see if anything seems off. It just might take awhile.

I was raised by Bec. I met you guys! I woke up on Prospit, aaaand.. bluh.

[ It's going to take her forever to realize that she's supposed to remember her grandpa. :c ]

I'll put it all in a journal and have you read it.

[ It'll be a sad moment when she finally realizes too :(

Sadly knowing she was mostly raised by her dog her statement doesn't strike John as odd enough to correct her either. ]

[ She pauses, then adds in a conspiratorial whisper: ]

Are you sure you don't want a pie, John? Are you reaaaally sure?

[ Taking a deep breath, like he's really gotta work to give her an answer to this one, and whispering back. ]

I am positive.

Pfffthaha. I am proud of you, John! Good job. May you never have to eat pie again unless you decide you want to.
