[he'd heard something about a message - something about bombs, something about escape, about getting people to safety. in the midst of his wandering through the dark, that, at least, reached his ears.

finally, there was a resistance forming. maybe he had a chance of freeing his friends, after all. Gale began to make his way up out of the Tunnel of Doom, still listening for the canary, that tiny little bird that could lead him to fresh air and freedom.

hopefully he wouldn't run into any more Peacekeepers...]

[Gale may hear some heavy footsteps coming up behind him. Blues is on the look out for the explosives too. Gale doesn't look like Gale to him, instead Gale looks like a certain blue robot that Blues really doesn't like. However, he's beaten a fair share of people who look just like that since yesterday. He knows odds are that this isn't the actual Rock either. So he'll resist the urge to punch you in the face today.]

[She's sneaking along that very same hallway, it happens, carrying a scalpel in her left hand. She pauses for a moment, ducking into a doorway to watch them. Hmm. Two of the people she was stalking yesterday...AND they're together. What are they planning? She stays perfectly still, as quiet as possible, just watching and listening. Have they decided to do the sensible thing after all?]

[in the dim light, all Gale can make out is the shadow of armor, and that doesn't bode well at all. he tenses]

You're never gonna take us all, you know. We're fighting back, now. All of us. Together. Twelve whole Districts. So even if you do take me out, you're not even slowing us down.

[whistles_the_blues]

[There's a pause before he answers. What the heck was this guy even going on about? Not that anyone was talking sense on this stupid ship.]

Twelve districts? I have no idea what you're talking about. There are more important things to worry about right now.

[He's a little preoccupied with Gale and hasn't noticed Chell hide away.]

...You can either help me find what I'm looking for, or go away.

[more important things. it's just enough to put a crack in the madness, let a little light through, though he's still too preoccupied to notice the girl he attacked last night - not that he'd recognize her. in the dark, he'd been too deep under to truly see]

I'm looking for the explosives. If that's not what you need, then you can get out of MY way.

[He has no idea what he's not a part of but if it makes it easier he most certainly has nothing to do with it. This guy is clearly seeing things differently than Blues is at the moment, but then again who was Blues to talk at the moment.]

I haven't. We have to focus on getting out of here right now, and assume she's working to do the same.

Just got word about the plan. Haven't made much progress. [He's following along beside you, Gale. Man that tunnel of doom does not look like the kind of place they want to be hanging around right now.

[Chell is following right behind them, and when they least expect it, she finally speaks up.]

I'll help you. I will. The explosives are just another means to an end.

[he eyes her suspiciously]

Where did you come from?

[he looks from side to side. left or right ... he knows one way leads back the way he came, but he's not sure which way the armored guy came from. he shakes his head and holds up a hand, listening.

it'd be a good time for that canary to pipe up.]

[whistles_the_blues]

[He's going to take a stab at it tilt his head to the right. They should go that way.

He's surprised to hear Chell's voice again... He freezes for a moment, but he has other things to worry about then what he did to her earlier. He's just not going say anything for now.]

[Chell contemplates Gale's question for a moment.]

I saw you two together. Wondered what you were planning. I know him, and I followed you too, earlier. So, I decided to follow you both now.

[True to her word, when they turn right, she does too.]

[And there's a flashing light, hidden in a vent. Closer inspection will show it's a bomb. Now all you have to do is get it out]

[the bird chirps, somewhere off behind them, past Chell. somewhere down the other corridor. but that flashing light catches Gale's attention first, and he squints.]

Wait, what's that?

[he's still not sure he believes Chell, right now, either]

[whistles_the_blues]

[Once Gale points it out, Blues moves along a head of them to the vent and catches sight of the bomb. Well a vent is no biggy for a robot to pull off right? So he's going to do that.]

[silentrunning]

[Chell sticks close to them. She watches Blues pull off the vent with fascination.]

What do we do with it now?

[Gale nods his thanks to Blues, then leans in to get it - he's got the longest arms, it's a logical call]

We have to take it to the wall. Get everyone to the mountains.

[whistles_the_blues]

[Wall was close enough to door, there was no need to correct the man on that. His head mind wasn't crystal clear, but it was certainly close enough.]

Right let's get back.
