[Adam frowns as he glances about. At his side, his left hand flexes and clenches, a nervous habit he'd picked up before his ability had manifested. Apparently, under the extreme duress, it resurfaced despite the years that he went into keeping himself from having tells.

His eyes are dark, steely. He looks like the solider that he was at heart. This was it, the final stretch. They were going to find those explosives and save those people. There was no 'if' about it.]

Where should we start?

Cargo bay, work our way outward.

[Kelly knows ships. She knows where to look on ships. She's deployed and disarmed explosives before; this is in every waywhat she was designed for.

Working with civlians, however, has her on edge. She doesn't know any of these people, can't predict how they're going to take the search party, and as a Spartan feels partially responsible for them.

She casts wary glances at them as the plumb the depths of the ship.]

[Jane's probably the last kind of civilian anybody wants on a bomb team, but she's there, and she will insist on coming no matter what anyone says. They need all the help they can get.]

Do you think they'll be very big? We'll have to bring them all the way back to the door...

I don't know. It's tough to tell exactly what they look like. They should be small enough to carry, though, I'd imagine.

[Kelly is the only one of her team that Phoebe doesn't know. She makes a point to move closer to the woman as they search]

Hi. I should probably introduce myself. I'm Phoebe Halliwell.

[He's silent as walks, lost in his own thoughts and memories]

Just for reference, does anyone have experience with explosions? I have some experience, but it's been over thirty years since I've last handled anything resembling a bomb.

[Kelly tips her head at Pheobe. She's nearly 7', skin pale and mottled pink with old burns.]

Spartan-087, it's a pleasure.

[She nods at Jane and Adam.] I have experience, and I daresay I can carry most anything we find.

I've had some experience on the receiving end.

[Because being the target of assassination attempts and your best friend's tricks totally counts.]

[Hey she once married a guy who used to turn into a red and black demon. She doesn't judge. She also has no doubt that she can carry as much as she says she can. Thankfully she's used to being around taller people, being only 5'2" herself, so she's not intimidated by the woman's height. She shoots Kelly a small smile]

A pleasure to meet you, too. I don't really have experience with explosives that aren't magical but I can still help.

[She reaches out to touch Jane's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.]

Me, too. Don't worry, Jane. We'll do what we can to make sure no one gets hurt with these ones.

[His lips twist downwards in a scowl as he looks around. One would think that there would be some sign or that the bombs would be a lot easier to find]

[Kelly's methodically checking every corner, up in the bulkheads, behind vents, moving and emptying any storage crates they find that might hold a likely candidate for a bomb.]

Anyone else having any luck?

[Katniss had found a duffel bag in the cabin she was in - dumped out the contents and carried it to the control room, where she looked around at the other team members.]

We don't have a lot of time. We need to get moving. I suggest we start in the engine room, and move forward.

[ Frodo just looks startled at the girl quickly getting into action, though he does rush to start on his way to the engine room, looking over his shoulder at the others to see that they are following. ]

What are we trying to find? What does it look like?

[The suit is ridiculously bulky, something she's not used to at all. But if they're going to get to the others, she's going to have to deal with it.]

An explosive. Given this vessel's technology, I suspect it may blend in with the ship. Keep a close eye out. Look for a detonator.

[...She is not entirely sure if Frodo is a kid or just a really short man. Either way - he'll be useful. And she can't leave her friends trapped over there.]

Look for something about the size of a loaf of bread, with mechanical bits all over it. Probably with a timer.

[She adds, nodding at the woman in the bulky spacesuit, as she starts going through everything.]

[ He has to work??? Awwwww. He can't even enjoy feeling like he's in a sci-fi book. This sucks.

Just kidding they're working with bombs. This is the best. Who was desperate enough to let Joshua near bombs and detonators? Or will be once everything's found, at least? ]

[ Oh great, she made a food reference to a hobbit. Frodo nods and giddily gets to digging about the place! Even if he is still unsure how a loaf of bread can look mechanical. That doesn't sound very appetizing at all. ]

[sworn]

[Vereesa gets to work as well, eyes quickly scanning over the area in search of anything even remotely explosive-like. Nothing stands out, and she huffs in frustration, casting a glance to one of the others in the room with her.]

Any luck?

[Maybe down this hallway here...]

[Katniss shook her head faintly. They would move on if no one had found anything yet.] Nothing. How about the rest of you?

Nothing here either...

[ But if they're moving through the ship, Frodo will go scutter down that hallway there to peek around too. ]

[She watches him slip down the hall and quickly follows behind him. It's clear the room is not the right location, and he may be on to something. Along the way, her eyes scan the floor and walls.]
