 Oi!  [Conan's coughs roughly. His voice was still feeling a little raw from the stresses of his recent kidnapping.  Not that he would ever admit to screaming during the ordeal.]

Is anyone there? How did I get back to the clinic?

[Because the last thing he remembered was being carried off by a monster. Judging from how much he hurt right now, he was certain that he hadn't imagined any of the attacks from its claws.]

I can order takeout. And Ran was always coming over and filling my refrigerator with meals.
