[Oh, just the person that Alex did not want to see! Don't mind this girl, she's just putting super glue on the stair railings. When she sees London eating out of the box of chocolates, she isn't surprised in the least. Girl probably doesn't know any better.]

[She looks a little uncomfortable, though. If London Tipton just almost called her pretty, something weird must be up.]

[Well, she was going to continue being rude and say "to be both", but then she remembers. The whole "being a good person" kick she decided she'd try back in November. Admitting to being mean on purpose probably wouldn't count towards part of that.

She gives a half smile and shrugs.]

Neither. I was just kidding. And it's not even real superglue. [Lie.] It won't actually stick someone to the stairs, it'll just get their hands all gross.

Oh! [Totally falling for it. Even though getting her hands gross is the last thing she wants.]

Well, that's good to know. I don't wanna be gross while eating chocolates. [She plucks another out of the box for herself and holds the box out for Alex.]

Yeah, sure.

[Alex puts the glue down and leans over to take a chocolate out of the box. She goes right for the biggest one, and takes a huge bite out of it, but wrinkles her nose almost instantly - orange creme. Yuck!]

[She pauses, though, looking a little dazed all of the sudden. Then, a giddy smile slowly breaks out on her face.]

Hey. Hey, London - are you a parking ticket? [A pause for dramatic effect, almost ruined by a tittering little giggle.] Because you've got fiiiiine written all over you!

I do?! Where?!

[She starts touching her face and turning in circles, looking to find these alleged writings.]

[Spike's like the ghosts in these halls sometimes, just brushing by without a word. Except when he looks up enough to see London, he conveniently remembers something he needed in the opposite direction. No offense to her but she's a level of perky that he's sure he can't deal with right now.]

[London's not deterred. Spotting him and maybe ignoring the fact that he might possibly be trying to avoid her, she quickens her pace to catch up to him.]

[This 'going to the castle' plan was poorly thought out, he realizes. He could have at least waited until it was dark to cut down on possible interference.]
