[He should be annoyed that they have so many -- and some will inevitably fall in the escape -- but a part of him is proud that so many men and women would not resign themselves to a prison in disguise. To think that people could live out their lives and strive for a peaceful old age, only to find themselves jailed.]

The game with the higher stakes is always the most interesting, I always say! [Sip.] A gamblignant such as myself has yet to find a game she cannot win, no matter the odds. [Spike wants to get out and all (well, more accurately, it's the chase more than the prize that he's interested in -- he's done this more than once) but right now he's pretty distracted by this girl's liquor bottle. He thought he had a good source, but the best he could sneak is beer.

And hey, if they all get too distracted and end up falling asleep after poker, he's okay with that too. He reshuffles his cards in the deck and looks around the table.]
