DLN 005 - Ice [Action/Dictated/Forward dated to this evening]
[Protoman had shut down in the middle of the great escape attempt at Holly Peaks. When his systems came back on line it was easy to see he wasn't still in the retirement home. Had they actually managed to pull it off? His fragmented memory couldn't recall exactly how the event had ended, it was certainly possible. He had his freedom, that was all that mattered.
And what did he do with this freedom? He pulled his old and worn joints out of the room he was in and to the roof of the castle to watch the sun set. He sat against his white oval shield, the sun reflected through the cracked visor of his battered helmet. This felt right.]
As quaint as that place was, I prefer to be able to do as I please.
[ooc: Blues is still Protoman with Altered memories from Holly Peaks, feel free to bother him over journal or in person.]

[dictated]
Dictated forever.
[Yeah, he has no concept of Paradisa]

A place I have no intention of returning to, so don't even think about it.

I was never one to keep a home, so there's not one to go back to. I certainly don't want to think of that place as a home.

Break? Are you still...old?

My internal clock unfortunately doesn't go backwards.
[He sighs.]
I haven't been Breakman for years now, where did you hear that?

[A pause.]
Where are you right now?

I'm on on the roof at the moment.
==> Action!
[And a short while later, there's a kid sharing your space, Protoman. An odd-looking kid, but most certainly a kid.]
You're still...like you were at Holly Peaks. I guess other people are too. Maybe I was just lucky.
Forever!
[He doesn't mind the kid sharing his space, it could be worse, could be his siblings. He does notice the similarity between him and the other he spoke to while he was at Holly Peaks.]
It hasn't been that long since I left, I don't rust that quickly. And how exactly are you lucky?
And ever!
[Evan closes his eyes, and his body seems to grow, thicken, and hunch over, the hair on his head retreating into his scalp, his features becoming heavier and more pronounced. Standing before Protoman is a dead ringer for the aged Evan Sabahnur, as he'd known him at Holly Peaks.]
Because I wasn't left like this when I came back. This isn't me, just what the castle made of me.
'Till the end of time!
[It certainly adds up with what other people have said since he woke up.]
...I have no memory of this castle, but I suppose that is part of the point, correct?
