Twenty-Fifth House of Westeros ♛ Dictated

Age is a thing to ponder, of what lies waiting for us back home. [She thinks of the Vale, and what is to become of Alayne Stone. Sansa Stark must be dead, she tells herself.]

Does the castle truly know what is to be if some did not age while others did? [Was it an omen?] I know little of magic, as its use has long since died where I am from. Perhaps this is but another trick. None can foretell the future.

I should have liked to grown old, though I have not an idea of what my father's wishes. [She is simply relieved to be away and free of Lannisters, let alone planning for what is to come. No doubt Petyr has something planned. She briefly thinks of Winterfell, the promise he once made.]

I have safety while Westeros is still torn. The castle would like me to believe that isn't so, I presume.

Considering the lack of viable exits, I would be inclined to agree.

People have left the castle but not the lands.

As far as I've been able to tell, people have yet to get very far with their expeditions, no matter how ambitious they may be. They venture out, but somehow, they keep being drawn back.

The first gens do not.

They know things we don't. And they seem to be inclined to keep their secrets close to their chest.

[...] Admittedly, the castle at large seems to be the same way, but I doubt anything that they'd filter away from the first gens would be brand new information to them.

It seems as if communication is separated on both ends, though I believe most of the filtered information has to do with our own strategies.

Yes, but how do you formulate some new strategy against people who have likely seen it all?

They do not know what we plan.

It's been implied that they have been here for many decades. I'm sure they've seen everything.

And we have only been here a few years. How would they know what we are to do?

For one, I've read that there were moles before. It could happen again.

There are always spies. [Trust issues? Her? Never.]

[She totally gets it, yo!] And cautious realism is always an asset.

My father taught me well.

So did mine. [She sounds a little less critical of the other woman now, and a lot more conversational.] Then again, fending for yourself also teaches a lot.

I may have been lucky that my father has always seen to my needs. Here it has been more of a struggle, but the castles provides all that I've needed.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a castle would be a terrible replacement for a dad.

I miss him greatly.

I am fortunate that Lady Stark is here. [Who is actually her mother, but only James Potter knows that.]

Hey, at least you're not alone. The one person I trust came and gone a while ago.

She is one of the few I would trust with my life. Her daughter Arya is here as well, and for a time, her son Robb.
