Age is a thing to ponder, of what lies waiting for us back home. [She thinks of the Vale, and what is to become of Alayne Stone. Sansa Stark must be dead, she tells herself.]

Does the castle truly know what is to be if some did not age while others did? [Was it an omen?] I know little of magic, as its use has long since died where I am from. Perhaps this is but another trick. None can foretell the future.

I should have liked to grown old, though I have not an idea of what my father's wishes. [She is simply relieved to be away and free of Lannisters, let alone planning for what is to come. No doubt Petyr has something planned. She briefly thinks of Winterfell, the promise he once made.]

I have safety while Westeros is still torn. The castle would like me to believe that isn't so, I presume.

Kind of funny how we're supposed to never age here, but the castle takes away that veil of perfection from us in an instant.

There are actually quite a few people here that are going to die soon after they return. Some immediately and some still have a few years left.

Well, don't worry about it. Plenty of us doomed folks got to spend time as the elderly, I'm sure that plenty of people who die of old age got to stay young.

[he talks about himself as if he was going to die... he'd died years before arriving at Paradisa. He'd been given the chance to live again for a couple of days... and had life taken from him again.]

I was not worried. It only made me think of what is to be when we return.

I'll admit, I've never given being elderly and infirm much of a thought. As for magic? Well now that's a tricky topic in general.

Magic is possible where you are from. Like in the stories. [But stories aren't real.]

Who's to say it's not real were you're from? Most people from my world aren't aware of magic.

I don't know about that. Magic doesn't just disappear for good.

Maybe it's use has been lost then. It's just stories now.

Westeros is the name given to the Seven Kingdoms and the land above the Wall.

The Wall..... So, someone keeps your people penned in, too...?

No. Those above the Wall are wildlings. The Wall was built thousands of years ago, the reason lost.

Huh. So is it just the Seven Kingdoms at war, or ... are they all fighting the wildlings?

I know not what goes on at the Wall. The Men of the Night's Watch guard the realm. The war is within the kingdoms.
