[ Late in the evening, this post is dictated from a cozy spot in the corner of the dining hall. With her legs curled under her and her journal balanced on her lap, she sips her tea quietly for a few minutes, just thinking.
The wash of words from dozens of different people is oddly comforting- like the inn, in a lot of ways, but with less drunk businessman shouting for 'more sake from Yuki-chan'. After a brief pause to clear her throat and set her tea aside, she starts to speak. ]
You know...I kind of miss school. It's been nice for these past few weeks, not having any real responsibility - I caught up on a lot of reading, thanks to the castle! - but between no job, and no study...
I feel like I should be doing more with my time. Does anyone else feel like that?

I hope we can, then! There must be a lot about one another's worlds we can learn as well.

But I can't say I miss classes though. I heard people talking about jobs, and a town!

"This world" It's like the TV all over again, huh? I thought we're done with that and our lives were back to normal...
Wanna check it out, though? I'm getting kind of hungry.

[ she pauses, and smiles to herself. ] There's no need for that. Just say 'I wish for this!' and name the food you want.

[A steamy bowl of nikudon materialized in her room]
Whoa! That's awesome... It just appeared out thin air. Oooohhhh the smell.... It really is some Aiya Nikudon!

I hope you're ready to catch them next time.

[ Whoo...okay. She only cackles for a couple of seconds before trying to school herself. ]

Anyway, is there anything we could do in this place? I've been told about the game room but that's about it.
[Dictated]
[It's a little weird for her to have to explain this to Yukiko, but she was still on hiatus when Yukiko is from back home. So it probably wouldn't hurt to remind her.]
So it's kind of nice having all this free time all of a sudden! But... I think I get it. I'd like to be able to do something here.
[She's already talked to Yukiko once about how she wants to find some way to continue her work as an idol, even in a place like this. She's just still not sure how to do it...]
no subject
Would you want to do performances here, Rise-chan?
no subject
[She pauses here, remembering her few outings to the city...]
Well, there is a theater out in the city, but I think they know even less about idols out there than some of the people here.

[She hesitates a bit, but it's Yukiko she's talking to. If she can confide in anyone in the castle right now, Yukiko would probably be at the top of the list.]
I've just... never really had to look for work before. Back home I always had Inoue-san and the agency to handle all that stuff.
[When it all comes down to it, she really has no idea how to get started again without already having a recent fanbase ready to accept her.]

[ She might not know much about the idol biz, but it's an easy conclusion to jump to. Yukiko hums, thoughtful. ]
Well, the best start is just to ask around. I haven't been down to the town yet, but it seems like a pretty busy place.
no subject
I guess it doesn't hurt to ask...
[She's still a little hesitant, though. From what she knows of the city, most of the people are actually native to this world. It's a bit of a daunting task going around out there and talking to people she may well have nothing in common with. It's very different from back home or even here in the castle.
But she still has a spark of determination, and she knows her friends believe in her. Even Inoue-san would probably be quietly cheering her on in his own way!]
Maybe I'll give it a try sometime? I could always put on shows for the castle, too!

There's a library, and book stores in the city.
no subject
Really? I was thinking of something more structured, but that could help.

Besides, classes are boring. It's more fun to learn at your own pace, through books or exploring.
