[Maladict has been mostly ignoring the pie mess of yesterday. She doesn't really eat, and she's always got a good supply of coffee, so she just left people complain as they always do. Still, it's got her thinking]

Back home, tomorrow is Samedi Nuit Mort. It translates to 'Saturday Night Dead'. It's one of those holidays the zombies have taken as their own. Something happened in Genua with all that, I believe. I wasn't there, but that's not my point.

[She taps the journal, somewhat impatient as she gets to that illusive point]

I can count on one hand the amount of times this castle has celebrated a holiday from a world other than Earth. And, yes I am aware that Earth is the highest population of residents here, but when you get a holiday all about maths or...pie I'm a little confused as to which one it is, you have to admit it's a little ridiculous.

Well, what if the castle doesn't know any better? You ever thought about teaching it something? [Personally South was all about teaching it lessons with high explosives, but they were hard to come by around here.]

Oh this should be good. Please, do, explain to me how I should teach something to the sentient castle.

Jesus, it's not that difficult; safe to say this place sees everything we're doing, just throw the holiday and maybe if you're lucky it will remember for next year. Or, I don't know, just make out a calender and mark it with important days. Who knows.

They've got a big thing going at the moment about undead rights.

Well, they don't go about biting people, which seems to be a popular thing in other worlds. They just shuffle about the place really. Protesting for undead rights.

[Ine a deeper, mimicking voice now] Undead yes! Unperson no!

...Undead rights? You mean, people just don't go around believing all undead are evil? [Danny couldn't help but remember the Anti-Ecto Control Act in his own world.]

No. Not zombies, anyway. Most people just politely avoid them.

They still need convincing on us vampires, but you can't really blame them for that.
