[Back in her room, Chie decides to use the journal to properly introduce herself. She's been in the castle for a week now. She's still not 100% comfortable in the castle, but with three people she knows from back home in here, she is starting to feel more at home]

Uh, hi everyone. I'm Chie Satonaka! I- aha, I've only been here for a week and it's still weird waking up every morning in some castle. It's like I got suddenly transported to a network TV show. But it's cool that I could just wish for anything I want! And I have people from back home here with me, like Rise-chan and Yukiko. [Poor girl, still not aware her best friend just left]

Nanako-chan? Yukiko just told me you're here. Where are you?

Nanako-chan! It's a relief to hear you. Are you doing okay?

Uh huh, I'm okay! [AND HAPPY *^* more of Big Bro's friends is always a good thing]

Yeah. I'm good! I haven't seen you around in the castle though. But then again this place is huge! Where are you? Want to play or walk around the place?

Oh, that's 'cause I've been in town! When I got here, Mr. Crowley said it would be okay if I lived in the house with him and his friends.

And yeah, I'd like to see you!

Mr. Crowley? And you can live in town?! [Somehow hearing Nanako being with an adult strikes the wrong chord with her, but at the same time, she knows Nanako is a smart kid to know who to talk to and not get herself in trouble]

Uh huh. He saved me a long time ago. [Well "long time ago"... that's a relative term for a child. and, it strikes her, actually... That a previous Chie was there at the time. It causes her to stumble a bit on the sentence] We've been friends since then.

He sounds like a cool guy! [Chie smiles. Maybe meeting this guy would be nice, so she could thank him in person for saving Nanako]

Well I'm glad you're okay! Where do you want to meet? I'm curious what your place looks like. [She's also thinking if it's possible to live outside of the castle. This place gives her the creeps still]

she really is! We actually met when we were both on a loss and were stuck as fairies. We've hung out a few times since then.

Rise-chan as a fairy? That would have been cute to see. [Chie laughs a little] But why did you guys turn into fairies?

It was a loss. I dunno. Rise turned into a fairy when we went to Wonderland first, but I was a fairy before that. She just stayed one for a little while when we got back.

A loss? I remember some guy named Mark telling me about that. I'm guessing it's when the castle turns you into something?

Hello, Chie. I think we have a little in common. I've been here almost two weeks myself. Sounds like you're settling in and it's good that you have friends to show you the ropes, so to speak.

Yeah! My friends and I are not strangers to other worlds so it's easy to feel less freaked out about being away from home. But this is the first time I stayed in one, though.

Nice to meet you too, sir! Oh, it's a long story. It started as an urban legend that there is this world inside the TV. A world that's made of people's minds!

And your name is "The Doctor"? Isn't that more of a title?

Well, peoples imaginations hold no limits. It stands to reason there would be worlds there, I suppose. How is your travel to these worlds achieved?

Oh no, please don't call me sir! Really no need. Well, most call me 'Doctor'. It's the better of names I've been given.

[Chie paused for a bit, thinking how easy it was to tell people about their little secret. But this isn't Inaba. And they forget everything they learn in Paradisa once they go back, so why not tell the guy? It wasn't hard, there was just a bit of an awkward feeling to freely spill things like the Midnight Channel to a complete stranger]

We enter TVs. But we always get in a specific TV, because it leads to the same spot in the other world all the time. It's pretty neat.

And Doctor it is! That's a cool name now that I think about it. Like a TV hero or something. The Doctor! [Chie giggled after enunciating the name]

[And that is not the answer he was expecting. Nope.] ...It sounds very clever actually, Chie. I was expecting you to say something quite different though.

[That does get a laugh from him also.] Thank you. I think.

You've found out you can wish for things I see. Have you been having fun with that?

[Chie giggles] Yeah! I've been wishing for the same stuff I used to own. My room here is slowly looking like my room from back home! I find that you have to be specific or else you get the wrong thing, or not get anything at all.

[Then Chie thought for a second about what the Doctor said about expecting a different answer, so she thought about asking] You mentioned expecting something different. What do you mean by that?
