Can't help but feel like my time here's just been wiped. It hasn't been as long as some, but six months is the longest I've been in one place since my parents died.

I'm back to making the lab equipment. Paris was a nice break, but it's nice to be back. Think I'm going to be spending some time in the library. Those haven't been wiped, right? [Hopefully.]

It sort of puts more importance on the information gained and the experiences we've been through.

That's a good idea. I'll have to go through and do the same.

It really does. I'm probably not going to miss the old, random conversations with strangers, but the really important stuff will stick with me.

Not going to miss the curses either, but the long chats about home or just the codes I had with the Doctor.

Some things shouldn't be forgotten.

Better yet, if you go back and copy them, keep them in a personal journal, not one run by the castle. Have a bunch of different copies. If one gets damaged, you still have it.

I'm actually doing that. It's my Common Place book. There's also the two notebooks from the two expeditions I was on.
