020 - La La La
[Chell's in a good mood today. The sun's shining. The birds are singing. She's outside, walking through the gardens, open journal in her hands. Everything smells like new life. It tickles a memory deeply buried in her head of going once to somewhere where fresh vegetables were bought and sold. The memory's fleeting but it makes her smile.
And as she walks along, she slowly begins to realize she's humming to the rhythm of her shoes on the path. She takes a few steps more, and she remembers the words to the song she's humming. It had been one that Mark had pointed out to her in their discussions of music. She'd asked him for some songs he thought she'd like, based on a song she'd given him. The song she's humming now had been one of the ones he'd provided. It perhaps isn't the song for a day like today, but she likes it anyhow.
Chell's never sang before, that she can remember anyhow. So when she opens her mouth to take a breath, and finds herself singing, it comes as a great surprise. But she doesn't try to stop herself. She does like the song And she doesn't even care that her journal's open.]
[OOC: Lyrics are on the Youtube. If anyone wants actual printed lyrics, let me know.]

You sing very well.
[She grins.]

I haven't ever tried before, really; don't know what came over me. But your song was lovely, too.

Nor have I.
