my green pen is really hard to read on this journal paper so i am going to forgo it for now :(

i just had another question!
people who had powers back home-
what were they like?
what are they like here?
have you noticed any difference??

and i still have not figured out what my loss is .___.
any advice on pinpointing that would be super appreciated

Well, I dunno about "had", since I've still got most of my powers, but Paradisa took away my ability to fly under my own power. Doesn't matter if I use rocket boots, wings, or anything else. I get off the ground for about a second before I crash.

As far as trying to figure out your own loss, that might be hard. If it's like...a memory, you probably won't be able to pinpoint what memory is missing. If it's a skill or a power, have you tried everything yet?

That's probably Paradisa not letting you leave. The barrier to the Dead Zone being the way it is, it cancels out any powers a person has that'd let them be able to leave. My friend Kara tried to fly up into the barrier, as it extends over us, and she said it was like being launched by a slingshot up in the air. Like...she couldn't control her ascent, and she ended up falling and hitting the ground really hard. Have you tried using your power just to move around the area where we can use our powers?

You can phase through stuff too? I just learned how to do that not too long ago, heh.

Well, your loss probably isn't any of your powers, then, so it's gotta be a memory, or some non-powered skill or something. For that, you'll just have to think back, and see if there're any gaps in your memory that you can see, or if there're other people from your world here, talk to them and see if there's anything they know, that you don't, that you probably should. If that makes any sense at all?

Yup! My powers are kind of hard to describe, but they allow me to do a lot of things that shouldn't be possible. Basically, I can control the molecular structure of my body, so I can change the shape of my body to just about whatever I want, and yeah, I can phase by separating my molecules just enough to pass through solid objects. One of my teachers back home can do it, which is where I got the idea to try it here.

Yeah, I'm sure it will. I can't even imagine missing one of my memories. I mean...as tough of a time as I have not being able to fly, my memories are part of what make me "me", you know?

Oh, it's my ability to fly. Didn't you catch that before? Like...Paradisa would limit where I could fly anyway, but I can't fly under my own power at all without going out control and crashing. It's kind of annoying.

the only real difference between my powers back home as opposed to here is that time travel doesnt work properly here
i can jump forwards if i want to but not backwards
that just seems to be a thing paradisa does to all time travelers though
the rest of my powers are unchanged

only being able to travel forward in time seems pretty... well, useless

but yeah anyway the time travel thing is pretty useless
i assume its paradisas way of keeping us from cheating
since obviously if we could use our time and space powers to their full extent we would probably have solved this planet ages ago

yes when i first arrived i thought of it as a sort of cosmic sidequest
like the quests on the planets of the incipisphere
and i still firmly believe that the secret to killing the castle is out there somewhere waiting to be discovered
