[Sandoval's sigh is heard over the journals, and it is not a pleased one - for once, the Xoan ambassador seems... well, rather bummed out.]

Has anyone seen Mistress lately? It's not like her to be gone so long. And it's not like we can leave the castle or that little city, can we? So she must have gone somewhere. I just thought she would leave a note, or something.

That's rather distressing. She couldn't have been kidnapped, she'd blow her attempted kidnappers to bits... so what could have happened to her?

I think... well, she could've just gone home. It happens sometimes.

[Awkward...] Were you guys close?

Gone home? Without me? Well, that isn't fair.

[He seems surprised that Brock even had to ask.] Oh of course we were close! We were thick as thieves! She is my best friend, after all.

She probably didn't mean to. You know, magic castle... all that.

[Brock's just honestly surprised that Mistress had friends.... she was pretty terrible...]
