[ He's less packing and more just rooting through the kitchen, shoving everything he can into his mouth as he goes. He's about to have a long spell of not being able to appreciate, or honestly digest a lot of foods he generally enjoys so he might as well take his fill while he's got the chance. ]

You might want to watch what you eat - you do not want an upset stomach from the outset.

Oh I wouldn't worry about that. There's not much I could eat that'd make me feel sick.

Perhaps not, but bathroom breaks might not be so close together.

I suppose not. I rarely meet people with hair as long as mine.

My father's was only ever to his shoulders or his elbows, but my mother's was kept long like mine.

Hmm, not really, I do not think, she simply liked it that way. As she saw to a majority of my childhood, she decided how I kept myself. My father might have had input when I became older, but he passed before then...

It is now over a two-hundred year old wound. Speaking of it... holds not as much pain as I like to admit.

No, I suppose not. At times I wonder if I should feel guilty for it, but they do say 'time heals all wounds'.

Of course not, I can't imagine anyone wants another person to tear themselves up over their death for years to come after. I know I wouldn't want people to in that position.

I doubt they would either, though nonetheless, their absence was felt. But I speak of dark things, and we should think of brighter on the onset of a journey.

[ Grabbing a fresh apple off the countertop and tossing it up and down a few times before holding it out to Ashura. ]

How about... here's to a grand journey and maybe even getting a question or two answered about this place? Seems like something to look forward to if you ask me.
