022 - So Silent you could hear a pin drop (Backdated to this morning)
[Chell opens her eyes. For a minute, everything feels normal. And then she realizes two things in quick succession. Her cheek is resting on metal, and secondly, when she opens her eyes, she realizes she's staring at a spot of blood on the wall. Hurriedly, she scrabbles to her feet, not feeling any pain, but that doesn't mean anything if this is the Castle's doing... Her eyes sweep around, taking in the surroundings. She appears to be in an empty room. Frantically she digs around in her pocket, coming up with her journal at last. Relief floods her as she realizes she's got it still. Now to put in a filter.]

Um. Guys? I'm in an empty room, and I don't recognize the surroundings. Where are you all? Is this the Castle's doing? Have you all found yourself in empty rooms with metal walls too? Or is it just me?
/filter
[OOC] This filter's pretty big. If you and Chell have ever spoken on friendly terms, consider yourself a friend.]

Dat filter
The castle's done this before, though not with... space ships. Are you okay?
Re: Dat filter
[Oh my gosh, Phoebe. She could seriously hug you right now... if she weren't trying to remain calm. Her old instincts and the like from Aperture were starting to kick in, so she was calmer than she might otherwise have been.]
I'm okay, yes. Just was a little confused. Thank you so much for the info. I'll report anything I see to you as I explore.
no subject
It's alright, Chell. You just take care of yourself and try to keep the other people over there safe if you can. Thank you for keeping me posted.
filter forever
It looks like we're on a spaceship of some kind, but there are other people here too. I'm not sure where we are exactly, but I'd bet it was the castle for sure...
Re: filter forever
[Gren! Oh thank god. Familiar people are always a good thing right now.]
Man. This Castle trick's a doozy. Have you seen anything unusual yet? I'm seriously staring at blood on the wall of the room I'm in. I'm going to go explore. I'd be happy to let you know if I see anything weird, if you want?
no subject
Alright, but be careful. See if you can find more people.
no subject
It seems to be.. old blood. It's dried.

I won't, I promise you, Gren.
[She means it too.]
Keep yourself safe.

[She draws a peace sign in the journal. You are truly awesome, Gren.]
Tell me about your world? What was it like?
[It'll keep her mind off stuff.]

[She's smiling now. A little.]
I don't remember where I'm from, except that it was Earth. I remember that part. Did you live on one of the small colonies, or did you live on Earth itself?

What was the most interesting place you ever traveled to?
[Listening to Gren is horribly calming. And it's helping ease the creepiness of this ship. He's a friend, and a calming presence. She's sitting on the floor in another room than the one she'd awakened in, knees tucked up to her chest and journal on her knees, just listening.]

Can you describe the plants? Or draw them?
no subject
The flowers are kind of...like this? [He sketches a plant with a thick stem and oval leaves, with flowers that look like tiny spiked balls] They're pink.
no subject
[She's fascinated by his plants.]
Do they smell nice? They're really really pretty.
no subject
no subject
They should make smell-o-pictures.
[She's trying for humor but half serious.]
that way you could smell all sorts of interesting things.
no subject
no subject
Hm. Perhaps you're right. Because if there was a smell-o-picture of burnt toast or something...

[Chell smiles. Phoebe's words are ridiculously comforting.]
I will. I promise you.

Blood.
no subject
So you've seen it too? Where are you? Do you know? Maybe the two of us should team up? Who knows what's in this place.
[Does she sound uneasy and on edge? Damn straight.]
no subject
Scouting.

[So Chell leaves the room she's in, searching for Rinzler.]

[She's tempted to hug him, right then and there, but she doesn't. But she does smile at him. Is that relief in her eyes? Yes. It is.]
Rinzler!

no subject
No no. I'm fine. Just worried. Are you all right?
[Don't mind her. she'll be sticking to you like glue.

Old sign. Not good.
no subject
[She nods.]
Definitely not good.

We need escape. No way off...
no subject
I haven't found a way off yet... Maybe if we put our heads together we can think of one.
[She's peering around instinctively, looking for portalable surfaces, even though she has no portal device. Old habits die hard.]
no subject
I'll try to find you, too, if you can give me an idea of where you are. I just hope I don't get lost...
no subject
[OMG man, Chell's relieved to hear from you.]
Oh thank goodness. I think we might be too. Where are you and your friends now? Or just where are you? Maybe it'd be easier if I found you?
no subject
I don't exactly... know. It's hard to navigate these halls. I'll try to find a room that's more recognizable, okay? Since right now, anything I'd say probably wouldn't be all that helpful, heh...
no subject
[That's a good idea.]
If you find one of the bloodier ones, I can probably find you.

Re: Filter
I hope so. I really do. Please, Thamuris, keep yourself safe.
Re: Filter
I will. Promise me you'll do the same?
Re: Filter
I will do my best, my friend.
[In a place like this, it never hurts to tell someone they are your friend.]
Re: Filter
[Thankfully you can't see blushing over journals, because he is]
That's all I can ask for. I'll be thinking of you.
Re: Filter
And I you.
[If she only knew.
