4th Memory ~ [Dictated; On board the Event Horizon]
They... They're attacking us.
[David's words are disjointed, quiet as they come across the journal.]
Just one, at first. Bond, he... And then someone else... teenager with a sword.
Voices, things. Something's here. [And his voice gets stronger.] They might be hallucinations, but something's not right. The people aren't right... Something happened to them. And the crew before.
[Silence for a moment.]
No! I'm not letting you in control. People die when you're in control!
[More silence.]
There's people out there. On another ship, right? Trying to find a way to get to us. I almost wish you wouldn't. I don't want anyone else to go through this. [A deep breath.] Is anyone not affected here?

I've been seeing things, hearing sounds, but I'm not affected...I saw Bond... He looked like hell.

Maybe so...
[She's starting to doubt.]

No, no, we're fine - power's out, and we're fixing it up, but we're all... everybody's fine. But we're coming, alright? We'll fix the lock, or break it down, or-or something, I swear! Just- Is there any way you can...barricade yourselves, or something like that? Is there any way you guys can keep yourselves safe?

[He takes a deep breath.]
But... There's something going on. It's... either in our heads, or... I dunno.

Something happened. Not long after the quake.

Professor Webb
[this isn't right, this isn't right at all, nor is it good]
Professor, he attacked you?!
M
[Or it is. He can't explain it]
I'm fine. I got away. But whatever's going on on this ship? I--
[He trails off.]
Webb, to end
Stop being vague and tell me what happened.

dictated;
Have no cares, sir. What you have experienced I call nothing but trifles. The real terror is yet to come.
But it will not be long. And then you will all say, Oh Madam, how we ought have offered our ear! and then I must, I must remind you, Never fear, poor lost souls of the Damned, for it would not have changed a thing.
[ More laughter. ]

Christ, we have got to get them out of there.

dictated;
You're talking... you're talking about the darkness, right? The voices?
[His voice is low, in case she's right outside where he's sitting; in one of the less-bloodied crew quarters.]
dictated;
None will escape.
[ Whether she's talking about from her, or from something else, that's up to debate. ]

There is salvation, but there's nothing you can do. Or anyone.
But we can get you out- you won't have to see what we did. You won't have to witness the torment or feel the pain if you would think rationally.
We're trying to help you.
[Yeah. You're one to talk about being 'rational' right now, Pixy.]
no subject
[A pause.]
You talk about helping? You're not helping. You're affected. By all this.

You have no idea what we've seen. You wouldn't be able to comprehend what we saw. If you are afraid of what you've seen here, you would never be able to handle the fate that's been decided for you.
[A pause.]
But I would not wish that on anyone. There's a way for you to escape that fate, [his voice got irritable then-]
If only you would just listen!

And there's people acting differently. Talking about shadows, and torture. And helping us.

David? David! It's the Doctor. Can you hear me?
no subject
Yes. I can hear you. Are you on the Lewis and Clark?
no subject
[A pause, and he cautiously asks.] David, who are you talking to? Is someone there?
