[Dairine sounds very tired, having worked most of last night, but her voice still has raw determination.]
Greetings from the Lewis and Clark. This is Dairine Callahan.
If you can hear my voice, that means you still have a hold on your senses. And I really, really hope some of you do. I know you have been waiting for a long time, way longer than I would have liked. Believe me when I say we've been working double time to get our ship functioning and ready to help. We promised that we would save you guys, and we will, trust me. The only thing stopping us is one little door. Which is the reason I am contacting you now:
We know how to get you out of there. But we're going to need your help.
You see, your ship's previous crew left a log. Without getting into too many details, they suffered from the same effects that some of your friends are now. But before he died, one of the members hid a number of explosives on your ship, designed to blow the door off. These won't damage the ship; the hull is designed to take it. But the blasts will give us an opening.
One problem though: these explosives are inside the Event Horizon. With the door sealed, we obviously cannot reach them.
But you can.
If anyone is willing to volunteer, look for a room with protective suits. They will protect you from the blasts.
If you can't, please stay as safe as you can. We'll be with you shortly.
Go well.

But our only problem isn't that the explosives are over here... when the door blows off, even if people are in suits, how do you intend to get people over to the L&C? Are the suits powered? What do they look like?

Well, there's a bridge between the two ships. If the ship's hull can withstand the blast, the bridge should too. The suits are just a precaution.
Maybe? They look like regular space suits for the most part. Somewhat silvery in color, air tanks, bubble helmet...

This is welcome news. I will locate the explosives, as well as someone to help me set and detonate them, of the few that remain with their mind intact. Thank you.

It's the least we can do. Take care, and good luck.

My name is Bladewolf.

Perhaps, once all of this is over, and we have returned to the castle, we may be acquainted in person.

[Pause]
...Or as safe as you can.

[ She doesn't need senses to hear her voice, though not her intention. Explosions might be fun, especially if it will bring more of the people from the other ship here. ]

Something like that, yeah.
