11th Sortie

[In the clinic, Pixy's been a little low on sleep lately. With the incidents of the Event Horizon still fresh in his mind, sleep hasn't been particularly high on his agenda, and when he manages to doze for any amount of time, he won't be asleep for very long as his mind returns to what happened. And that girl. That girl's face is always in his mind. He can see her clear as day, everytime he closes his eyes. He knows fully well it wasn't him in control, but how do you admit that to yourself? More importantly, hell, what was he going to do if he SAW her again? If death wasn't permanent like everyone said it was...

He sighed as he ran his right hand through his hair - since his right arm was the only one that could do any sort of movement for the time being. This was all just a terrible dream. Or at least he wished it was, anyway. The severe pain in his shoulder and leg felt all too real.

He'll notice his journal is open next to him, remembering two things he had to mention. Guess he had filters to do.]


[Chie]

Hey, kid. Is Weiss with you?


[Rise]

I hate to ask, but would you mind doin' a favor for me?

[With those done, he gives another annoyed sigh and glances around the clinic.]

I'm really not fond of the idea of being cooped up like this.

[He'll smirk a little, giving a quiet chuckle at her comment about the ghosts. But he'll hide that amusement in his tone.]

Good, so they were taking care of him after all. At least that's one less thing to worry about.

[Chie is glad to hear that from Larry. He's been burdened enough thanks to recent events, and she'll do what she could to help him. Taking care of Weiss is probably the only thing she could do right now, though]

Mhmm! Oh hey, that jet fighter plushie is here! What's with the red wing?

[Taking care of Weiss was probably the most important thing she could be doing, really.]

My Eagle always had a red wing after an incident in the skies several years ago.

Oh cool so you're making it look like your old plane? There's another one in the game room that looks exactly like that. Maybe you could give that one a blue wing this time!

[solowingpixy]

[He gave a small laugh.] The red wing was all it needed.

[Of course, thinking about an eagle with blue wings...]

Nah. I don't think that one's appropriate for me.
