[Dictated/Action for hallways and library]
[His eighth birthday. His eighteenth birthday. He should have been getting ready to graduate and preparing college exams. But intead, he was still trapped in this same situation.
Nearly two years trapped in the castle like this without ever aging. Nearly three years since the day at Tropical Land. Since his life as Shinichi Kudo had ended and he had been forced to take on the identity of a child.
Three years of lying to everyone about everything. Three years of hiding his intelligence and constantly being condescended to.
Nearly a year and a half since he had last seen Ran. Did she still cry over him? Stupid Shinichi who had run off after a mystery and disappeared? Did she worry about him? Had she given up on him?
No, Conan didn't see anything about this birthday worth celebrating at all. Especially not with everything that had happened afterwards.
But even when all he wanted was to brood in his misery, he still had an act to perform. No matter how much he hated it.]
How is everyone doing? Is everyone recovering from the incident with the spaceship? Luke? Dairine?
Speaking of that, are there plans yet on what to do with the wreck?
[And with that said, Conan sets off for the library. Maybe burying himself in the world of Holmes again would improve his mood.]

Dictated
As for the wreckage, I'm hoping someone can fix it up. You never know when a spaceship might come in handy.
Re: Dictated
Is it really possible to fix something that damaged?
Dictated
Sure. It'd take a lot of work and probably some spare parts, but it could be done. At the very least we could make it into some kind of bunker, so long as we get the hull fixed and door working.
Re: Dictated
A bunker I could see.
Dictated
It would also be useful. You never know when we'll need to evacuate the castle proper.
Re: Dictated
That I can agree with.
Conan
People died, Conan. A lot of people. You may have a good pokerface, but I know you're not heartless. [Or unobservant enough not to notice.] It must have impacted you at least a little.
Dairine
[He didn't understand why she was insisting on talking about this.]
Conan
You know there are some benefits to talking about these things after they happen.
Dairine
Conan
Dairine
Conan - Whoops, typo XD
The point is there's mental and emotion reasons to share your experiences. And, sometimes, feelings.
Dairine
But I don't see a need for it.
Conan
[Dairine doesn't buy it for a minute.]
Dairine
Conan
[She slams the journal in a huff. Why the hell does she care if the brat wants to bottle up his emotions?! Let him suffer. Gonna go find someone who's not emotionally constipated to confide in.]
