Though it is not the way of things, mayhap that is why it will be entirely appropriate in this new realm. This is a prodigious day for myself; indeed for all of England. Whether or not you are loyal to the English crown and country, should you be loyal enough to me as a servant, an ally, or even a friend, I would welcome you to a simple supper I will be having to honor the day His Majesty the King bestowed upon me my crown. Should you choose to come, we will partake before dusk in the castle's own dining hall, where I am most apologetic to inform that no animals will be permitted within for the time being.

[ She can't even say 'the day I was made Queen of England', or sign as Anne the Queen, alas her loss foiling everything for her. Regardless, anyone who she thinks is worth inviting will have an invitation delivered to them. ]

[ Of course it requires constantly glancing a little south, but she is expecting Frodo. He is too polite to not show up without warning, she she would think. When he does come within her eye-line, Anne dons a smile and releases her crutch long enough to hold out her hand. ]

Frodo. Welcome. I am glad you have come.

[ He still finds himself awestruck when he sees her, so lovely and grand, nothing like the simple folk he is most used to. He takes her hand without hesitation to place a proper kiss on the back of it, then smiling up all expectant. Hasn't he done well to come here? ]

I brought you a little present, if it is indeed customary to give gifts.

[ Very well! His constant exercise in manners is why Anne is growing fond of him, but those sincere eyes may have one or two things to do with it as all. ]

I expected none to follow such customs. Whatever did you bring?

Well, it's-- [ Suddenly a book seems such a paltry thing to present, but here they are already. He lifts up the leather pouch containing the book for her to see, neatly tied with a ribbon. ]

I was not sure what colors you are most fond of.

[ She reaches to accept the gift with a very curious smile, glancing to him as she opens the pouch. ]

Oh, I love all of the vibrant colors, but I can never dismiss green.

[ Ooh, but it's pretty. And so nicely bound! She'll appreciate that for a moment before going to open it. ]

A book! ...A journal?

[bronwe]

[ He did try! ]

It can be anything you like, Your Majesty. That is the beauty of an empty book, only beware of where it might take you. None yet knows!

[ Well, she might be too paranoid to write down her personal thoughts here, but it could be useful for a number of other things. Anne enjoys versatile and beautiful gifts, so she graces Frodo with a smile and kneels a bit while holding out her hand. ]

My thanks, Frodo. I have nothing to offer but a queen's kiss.

[ He isn't sure what he should do with her offered hand when she speaks of a queen's kiss. Does she mean from her? He may be starting to blush even at the thought of it, though he takes the hand hesitantly. ]

[ The reaction is quaint to say the least, and she rests the book in her lap, drawing Frodo close enough to that she can reach with her weaker hand to touch his temple. Like that, Anne can guide him so that she can press her lips to the center of his brow, allowing it to linger before releasing him. ]

[ Frodo holds his breath as she grants him the kiss, thinking back on when Galadriel did the same. Another queen too by his reckoning. Then he wonders how much blessings are worth if they are worth anything at all. Can they save his life or is it all for naught?

Only pleasantries. Still he knows how to be polite and return it with a small smile. ]

I thank you, Your Majesty.

[ That's all it really is, but that's most of what nobility and royalty thrive on. Even Anne knows it's silly in ways, but in others she appreciates it. ]

Now, please go have your fill of tasty treats, and I shall sit and think for a time on what I will put within these pages.

[ He grins, clearly excited by the mention of food but is anyone even surprised? ]
