[ ooc; If you aren't sure if your character would qualify, just PM me and I will say. Plus ones are welcomeheck even party crashers are welcome. HERE is the thread for the supper (pile onto character threads/threadjack ahoy)! Elizabeth will be missing, which Anne will investigate afterward. :( ]
Though it is not the way of things, mayhap that is why it will be entirely appropriate in this new realm. This is a prodigious day for myself; indeed for all of England. Whether or not you are loyal to the English crown and country, should you be loyal enough to me as a servant, an ally, or even a friend, I would welcome you to a simple supper I will be having to honor the day His Majesty the King bestowed upon me my crown. Should you choose to come, we will partake before dusk in the castle's own dining hall, where I am most apologetic to inform that no animals will be permitted within for the time being.
~ Anne Boleyn
[ She can't even say 'the day I was made Queen of England', or sign as Anne the Queen, alas her loss foiling everything for her. Regardless, anyone who she thinks is worth inviting will have an invitation delivered to them. ]

A child could have made the deduction. ]
Captain...Hook. I was not made aware that you were considered one of Princess Emma's household. Do you act as her guard?

[What? He can be a gentleman as charming as any born with noble blood if he chooses to be.]

Arya.Simply because it's expected of her, or maybe it's just an experiment in how far he'll play, Anne releases her crutch long enough to hold out her right hand, which has only one amethyst and diamond ring on it today. ]
I bid you welcome, then, and must apologize for my own folly, as any friend of such a beautiful and gracious royal ally must indeed be a friend of mine and His Majesty, were he only here, God bless his soul. [ The lightest bow of her head and curtsy accompanies the practiced, though no less heartfelt line. ] You will receive proper invitation in the next event.

No offense taken, of course. I do enjoy a lavish feast.

But having a good memory is a double-edged sword. ]
Even one prepared by naught but a 'tavern wench'?
no subject
I've known more tavern wenches that can cook a decent feast than queens who could so much as fry an egg.

Did we not already agree that queens are not all the same?
no subject
Aye. But then we might also conclude that neither are all tavern wenches.
no subject
But I am not one. I bid you not to make the same mistake again.

[Though he has a feeling she'll be even slower to forget the slight. Queens.]

Too crude for a supper that nourishes children. I bid you strive harder to watch your words while you are at this table, and mayhap I will invite you once more to dine with me.
