THE RIVER
[YOU CHOSE THE RIVER ROUTE Too bad, Mama decides to give this group chase. There's a cave up ahead, a small waterfall partially concealing the entrance, but it should provide safe cover, if you can make it]

And what? Let it get away scott free?

[He points out the waterfall.]
You are Tyrannosaurus food. [He keeps the rifle there.] You're going to have to prove you won't need someone to come rescue you.

But she has enough sense that it would also put them at risk. So she simply knocks on the shield of hard air surrounding her, then leans against it. The shield might be invisible, but it's rock solid.]
I've fought worse. Now move it. Me and Rexy here are going to have a talk.

I'm going out. Right now. This has to stop.
Now.

[Dairine turns to him, her tone serious.]
Let me talk to it first.

[He's looking between Danny and Dairine.]

Sounds like, they're out for revenge.
I mean, nevermind we're the ones who encroached on its land and stole its young. How dare it get mad.

[ Duke isn't particularly sure that his spell will make it do much more than that. ]

[He raises an eyebrow.]
Can it talk?

[Chie was engulfed in a blue aura as she summoned her Persona]

I'm here to defend Life. All life. So believe it or not, I'd rather not kill it. But if this saurian insists on being a threat to life and our persons, it must be dealt with accordingly.
[Dairine gives Danny a shrug.]
In it's own way, I guess. It can be understood though, and will understand the Speech well enough. Everything does.

[Jason sighs. David would never do what he was about to.]
Fine. So be it. I'm going with you. God knows someone needs to be the baby-sitter.
[And he'll act as bait. He slings his rifle over a shoulder.]

Whatever. You should listen to the others. I don't care if it lives or dies, but its body will draw scavengers all night that I'd rather not deal with. Just...do your communication and try to draw it away. Or chase it away.
[Seriously, that sounds like a pain]
no subject
A second chance, huh.
[His lips tighten stubbornly.]
Fine. But if this goes bad I'm hauling you out of there, putting it on ice and dropping it on the other side of the island.

If this goes bad, you won't need to haul me anywhere.

[ His shoulders go into a slightly defensive look, and he takes a half step back. ]
I'll just... stay here. If it comes after again, or maybe something else gets too curious I can... scare them off that way.
