The outpost in the dead zone is still intact, just saying, and I will remind everyone in general that the doors do lock. We could just stick Legato out there for a while and make sure he didn't get back into the castle zone. No powers, no forcing townspeople to kill each other and themselves. Of course the risk to him would be vengeance-seekers and he might attempt suicide, but it's a possibility.

[And of course, if Legato attempts suicide, it might be doing them all a favor.]

There are times that I do not understand the people here... Any other world, and no one has an issue with killing someone. But here, they would rather let someone kill themselves than simply ending it by their own hands and finishing things swiftly.

I cannot tell if that makes you all admirable or cowardly.

If it were my job to do so, then I would. That is not the case however.

She has a lot of issues with killing people, really, but she kind of doesn't feel like fighting about it, and she's sick of these endless circular arguments where no course of action actually gets decided on, and Legato is a special case, and she doesn't feel like laying it out for some judgey stranger - or not so stranger, maybe, given how this person knows her name, but whatever. Close enough. If he's just going to criticize but not do anything, she cannot muster up one fuck to give.]

If he were a normal Castle resident, and his occupation didn't specifically lie elsewhere, then he'd just kill Legato himself and end this whole thing. He doesn't understand why letting him kill himself is the preferable option, but he's long since given up trying to get people to actually understand the way he thinks.]
