Either I can't see tears anymore, or tears just don't exist here. With the reading I've done, it looks like it's likely... the former. It's probably my loss.

I used to be able to open tears, windows into other worlds. Enter them and take things from them, as well. I suppose it makes sense that this place wouldn't allow me to do that. Finding an exit would be all too easy.

[A sigh.]

I was hoping my second entry would be a happier one, for those of you that want to leave.

Now that the business with the dinosaurs is done, I'm fine. The more gentle species did sound intriguing; I'm sorry to have missed seeing them, if not the raptors.

There are some excellent books on the subject in the library. Even after looking through the illustrations, it's difficult for me to imagine actually seeing them.

I feel like I've taken half of the library into my room already, but you'll have to show me sometime.

Music theory, painting techniques, horses, the Italian Renaissance, space... [She's just rattling off the books she can she from her chair in her room.]

And many talents! I've had a lot of free time.

Yes - if there's one thing for which we can be grateful to the castle, it's the opportunity to pursue so many different hobbies.

I find myself busier here than I was back home.

I'm sure that's no small feat. What have you found most interesting to study?

I've always been fond of lockpicking. A strange thing to enjoy, but I like a good challenge.

And one never knows when it will come in handy.

It's a useful skill to have.

But eventually, provided the castle doesn't attempt to protect its locks from picking.
