[The fact that she’s out and about today at all just goes to show how accustomed to the castle’s pranks she’s become. When she first arrived, she almost certainly would have spent the day hiding in her room. But no. She’s decided that she’s not going to let this get the better of her.

Granted, that doesn’t mean that she’s going to hang out in the most populated areas of the castle either.

It’s a nice day anyway, so she decides to spend most of her time in the gardens peoplewatching and enjoying the sun. Which wouldn’t be an unusual sight if it weren’t for the outfit. Jeans and a low cut tanktop are topped off by a brown wig. Really, if you didn’t know who she was, it wouldn’t be that bad. Good luck convincing her of that, though.]

[Conan is still dressed up in a modern Sherlock costume far too large for him. It was kind of adorable.

He wasn't pleased by that.]

[He shrugs and yanks his coat back up again. He'd already tripped over the hem enough time for one day.]

Compared with some of the other costumes today, you were lucky. I think I saw the person who got your clothes, by the way.

Oh, I do not doubt that things might be worse. It does not make this more comfortable for me.


[A pause while she watches him adjust the costume. It's going to be really hard not laugh, you know.] I have seen two; it seems a popular costume. [Dairine wears it better than Bond, for the record.]

[Crowley is still trapped in Ino's getup, so those fishnets are a sight to see. He'll be wandering over, giving her an idle wave]

[Well, congratulations Crowley. She was mildly embarrassed about all this, but looking at you she suddenly feels a whole lot better.]

Crowley. [a little nod- and she has enough control not to laugh at loud, at least.] I suppose I should count myself fortunate.

It feels strange to me still- constricting and revealing, both at once. [Yes, Galadriel. That's rather the point.]

[Phoebe was on her way outside to get some air when she sees a woman walking her way. She's been about to just give her a friendly nod in greeting when she realizes she knows that woman.

She stops dead and stares at her friend, eyes taking in the wig and... wait a second]

... I have a shirt just like that...

I imagine you do. [Just a hint of amusement in her tone. This is utterly ridiculous, but it is ultimately harmless, after all.] I assure you, as dear as you are to me, this imitation was not by choice.

Oh I'm sure. I've seen a few people talking over the journal about suddenly finding themselves with a costume change. I guess I missed out this time around. I have to say I'm a little flattered, though.

[Nora's nearly unrecognizable, herself, in brown trousers, a frilly white silk shirt and rust colored jacket. Though it's the long red wig that really completes the outfit. She tilts her head and stares at Galadriel for a moment in shocked confusion]

Did I? I think it suits my friend far better than it does me.

I think you look pretty hot, actually. [she smiles mischievously, idly tugging at the sleeve of her velvet jacket]

I thought "cool" was the expression. Or have you turned another temperature into an assessment of quality? [Slang: It's Hard for Old People.]

[She laughs]

Cool means awesome or neat... kinda like saying something's wonderful. Hot is really only used when you're talking about people or clothes. It means gorgeous or sexy.

[ Frodo's costume has grown on him, even the moustache, maybe, soon. But seeing someone else in the same predicament is somehow more shocking. He takes a moment to remember to close his mouth. He certainly knows who she is. ]

Lady Galadriel...?

[A little red reaches her cheeks.]

Frodo. I assume no explanation is necessary. [Given your own state.]

[ This is a story he could tell his grandchildren. One day the Lady Galadriel blushed in his presence... Frodo just laughs. ]

I suppose not! I am quite well like this and I hope you are as well, my lady.

I am. This is an inconvenience, but it is a harmless one. [She can handle being mildly uncomfortable and a little embarrassed for a while.]

[ He reaches to fiddle with his moustache a bit. It's still not the most comfortable. ]

I am glad you chose to face the sun even so. I was tempted to hide behind doors.
