Greetings, Paradisa. I would make this entry short. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of a plan for an obstacle course?

It is a good idea, I must say. But learning to fight is as essential as learning to flee and be stealthy. There would be a time when an escape would be impossible, and our backs would be against a wall.

[She paused and thought of bringing up recent world changes like the Event Horizon and Isla Sorna, and the Collectors in the Dead Zone among other things. But she realizes that would still be a sensitive topic to some residents so she held off on that. There being kids in the castle also stopped her from doing so]

I'm offering to teach fencing to anyone without prior combat knowledge. I ask those who are trained in combat arts and survival if you would be willing to share your knowledge to your fellow residents. We are in this world together, so let us keep each other alive and well when things turn dark.

I see. How have your lessons with the other residents went? If I remember correctly you asked for lessons before.

I... haven't really started them.

I'm still unsure when these lessons would begin. I still need to gather more willing teachers. In the meantime, why don't you condition your body and train at the gym?

I can offer some less.... poised? than what I recall fencing to be. I don't know how much use I can be beyond basic forms, however.

[ The voice may be vaguely familiar. The man who helped with healing, that one time a while ago. ]

A less poised form of combat is what we need. There is no room for excessive grace when it's a life or death situation.

[Funny hearing that from her, but she knows how to be ferocious in battle too]

Accurate. My own, preferred style will not be possible for most, but I can get basics of the way I was taught shared.

We don't need to teach the others to be elite warriors, so the basics should suffice.

It was, yeah. I'm used to forests a lot more like the ones around the castle, but some of the things I knew still came in handy.

Okay. Is this gonna be a regular sort of thing, or are we just getting everyone interested together once? I don't want to go into so much detail that I take up all the time.

[She sounds almost too confident in this. Maybe she's planning something?]

Even though you could be betrayed by one of the very people you're training at a moment's notice? Awfully brave of you.

However it may seem to you, I have not let my guard down just yet.

[Knowing her, she never does even if it looks like she's being awfully confident.

She paused to consider asking him if he's willing to teach, but knowing Larry enough, he might just turn her down.]

I would certainly hope not. I figured you were smarter than that.

[Yeah, that was some kind of weird compliment, in Larry terms. And really, he would hope she doesn't even let her guard down around him. Mercenaries aren't exactly the most trustworthy bunch.]

It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I would actually be willing to learn stealth as well. That is a discipline I have no knowledge in.
