Greetings, Paradisa. I would make this entry short. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of a plan for an obstacle course?

It is a good idea, I must say. But learning to fight is as essential as learning to flee and be stealthy. There would be a time when an escape would be impossible, and our backs would be against a wall.

[She paused and thought of bringing up recent world changes like the Event Horizon and Isla Sorna, and the Collectors in the Dead Zone among other things. But she realizes that would still be a sensitive topic to some residents so she held off on that. There being kids in the castle also stopped her from doing so]

I'm offering to teach fencing to anyone without prior combat knowledge. I ask those who are trained in combat arts and survival if you would be willing to share your knowledge to your fellow residents. We are in this world together, so let us keep each other alive and well when things turn dark.

I'm not the best. That title goes to Solid Snake... but I think I can be a good enough teacher.

I'm Raiden.

It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I would actually be willing to learn stealth as well. That is a discipline I have no knowledge in.

Nice to meet you too, Mitsuru.

We can set up a section in the obsctable course to focus on stealth then.

I have not been to the course just yet. However it is in my immediate plan to see it today.

Has he already set it up?

I'm going there to make sure. Django has been difficult to reach.

If not, I could use the little stroll.

[Mitsuru arrived at the lobby, wearing outdoorsy clothes and all armed with her sword, dagger, and revolver. She scanned the area for Raiden, kind of expecting him to hide himself and hoping he won't be the type to jump out and scare her]

[Raiden arrived shortly after her, dressed in regular street clothes - jeans and a black t-shirt. He didn't feel like going out in his Skull Suit and getting odd looks from everyone. Attached to his leg was his gun holster and around his arm and torso was a band for his sword sheath. It felt odd being "suited up" with his weapons but if the obstacle course was up, it was all the more reason to bring them.

The blonde looked around, wondering if maybe he should've given a description of himself before they decided to meet up... He finally laid eyes on Mitsuru. Seeing that she was equipped similar to him, he slowly approached her]

Hey. You're... Mitsuru?

Indeed I am.

[Mitsuru glanced at Raiden from top to bottom. He doesn't really look like the stealth expert type, but can't judge a book by its cover, right? She'll just have to see his skills for herself]

[Raiden's mission at the Big Shell definitely taught him not to judge people by their appearance. He isn't surprised at all by Mitsuru. Beautiful deadly woman? He'd never encountered one before in his world but he's glad to know the trope actually exists in real life]

Nice to meet you in person. I.. uh.. actually don't know where the dead zone or the obstacle course is.

I know where it is. It's a long walk from here, unless we get on horseback.

... I've never riden a horse before.

Hm... It's rather basic. I could teach you along the way.

Sure. I can't say no to new skills.

Good. The stables are this way. [Mitsuru leads Raiden out of the castle lobby to the hot outdoors.]

I'm curious, what time were you from? If you're from Earth.

[Raiden follows after her]

I'm from Earth. It was 2009 there though...

2009... Hm-hmm. [That made her smile a bit while she opened the stable doors. It was an eventful year to her back home.]

Yeah... a 4 year jump is... interesting.

[He glances around the stable once they're inside. Hopefully he won't be too clumsy on a horse...]

Yes, quite so.

[Mitsuru got a horse for Raiden. It seems she knows who would be the ones better for beginner riders]

[Raiden looks at the horse, then back at Mitsuru]

... How do I get on?

[Mitsuru wasn't really in a talking mood right now, a lot is in her head.]

Here, just look at how I do it.

[Mitsuru grabbed on both ends of the saddle and puts on of her feet into the stir-up to get herself on to the horse. It was pretty simple]
