[Jim has been here for a few hours now. Admittedly it came as a bit of a surprise to find he still had the back of his head intact but surprise wore off quickly to be replaced with curiosity and curiosity lead him to the journal. So eventually he decides to sit down still dressed in the suit he was wearing whilst standing on the hospital rooftop with Sherlock.]
So this is the afterlife for me then? No fiery demons? no clouds of angels just a simple boring old castle....how very fairy tale!
Sorry for anybody expecting a good old fashioned "oh my goodness where am i what am i doing here?" introduction but i took the liberty of catching up on some reading. A castle that takes people out of their time and dimension and keeps them here. So at its heart this is just a great big interdimensonal dumping ground...how charming!
Oh sorry where are my manners?. My name is Jim and I’m your new neighbour!

Come and play darling

Sorry about the lack of fire. Ruins my suits.

[Jim gives a sideways look] A demon? Have you fellas always looked like abercrombie and fitch models? or is that some new dress code?

Besides, upper-level demons can afford to look snappy.

Action
You seem to take this quite well. [Smug grin.] I think your explanation of this place is right to the point, mate. Beats dying though, I would know.
Name's Harry. [Gives you a nod.]
Re: Action
I adapt well to most situations, well aside from those with the terminally stupid and the boring. They just irritate me.
Nice to meet you Harry. How long have you been here in prince charmings fun asylum?
Re: Action
So you're and adventure seeker? Maybe a risk-taker, like me? [Grins.]
I've been here about a month. It has mostly been quiet, except during Valentine's when I got locked up with some dude for three days...

That's one way to describe this castle. Although it's a little simplified, don't you think?

[ Jim Moriarty ]
Oh.
He stares at this page of the journal for a long time, just processing -- trepidation, concern, a thread of panic, and (no point in hiding it) unabashed excitement. Oh, this month has been good to him.
He debates how to answer, whether to answer at all. (Well, no, not that. Of course he'll answer, can't resist, doesn't want to.) John is gone for now. He has time.
So he dictates, clear and calm.]
Gladly.
