I should probably work on getting myself armed, just in case something like that happens again, and they seal our powers again...

Yeah... But the monsters are far from the castle. The residents here go on these "expeditions" where they travel pretty far to go look at stuff. I was supposed to go on one, but I wasn't feeling well when it happened.

Yeah! There was an earthquake before everyone decided to go on an expedition! Apparently something fell from the sky. They said it was a huge spaceship with giant bug aliens!

I hope no one got hurt when that thing hit the ground.

No castle resident was hurt. But they mentioned people they call the "First Gens" that did. I don't know much about them, but the older residents seem to know them.

First Gens... [That's got to be in yellow text. He's going to remember them, and that means it's definitely Journal Research Time.] The original castle inhabitants, I'm guessing. I hope the crash didn't destroy anything that might have been helpful in figuring this palce out.

I hope so too. I don't know anything else besides that, though. Wish I knew more, but the other residents didn't say anything else about it...

Were they being secretive, or did it just never occur to them to tell you about it? I'm wondering who knows exactly what, now, and what they're willing to share.

I don't think a lot of them would be the secretive type... [Chie scratched her head lightly, knowing a lot of the people who went to the expedition]

Hmm. [Lots of deep thinking, here.] I'll have to keep my ears open, see if anyone mentions anything about it. This stuff might be the key to getting us back to Inaba.

Yeah. I won't be surprised if the others thought of going out of the safe zones before winter. So we should be ready when they plan another expedition so we could go!
