[He's sitting out in front of the tree this afternoon, open journal in front of him like he's been doing almost every day since he came. And every day when he does he feels that twinge of regret with maybe a little guilt mixed in. A horrible feeling, really. He wouldn't recommend it.]

[The only noise is the background sounds of the outdoors until he speaks quietly, as if he doesn't want to disturb it all.]

I regret that my lab accident created the Hulk, but I also regret spending so much time trying to get rid of him, instead of learning more about him, so he could do good.

He was never bad. That's part of what I failed to understand, what I still struggle with, sometimes. He's not bad. He's just so strong, that he can cause a lot of destruction, without even meaning to.
