Dispensing of the Will [ Dictated ]
[ There is a quiet cough as Vanyel readies himself to bear bad news ]
I do not recall it being said, but if it was and you all did not hear - Clow has returned home. For those who knew him and were companions of his, I am sorry.
However, he did leave some things behind, and I am sure he would not want them to go to waste or to simply sit and gather dust.
There is quite a large, red chair and any number of books, most of which are labeled 'Encyclopedia Britannica'. They do not mention anything I have ever heard of, but if anyone would find use for them, then by all means. I will leave them in his room should you want them, but I would ask that you come to me to retrieve them as I will be magically locking the room.
I would not see his things ransacked heedlessly.

[ Again, Duke has no idea how to feel about this.
Well, other than some depression building up- ]
... Seems... a great deal of that....
[ Or, well, he's realized that two / three people he talked to a couple of times had gone home all relatively within the same time- ]

Yes, it seems the Castle likes sending people home in groups.
[ He was deeply aware of the loss, especially since he had been lovers with the man, off and on, and he thought him a good friend more than anything. Like Apollo, Clow would be missed. ]
I fear Chimera shall feel a bit... odd without him.
no subject
[ Well. that would be one sort of .. depth, of loss, that Duke doesn't understand yet. ]
... Odd and helpful, in his way.

We should keep a work room open for him, in case he returns, I think.
no subject
[ that was agreement, however absent minded it sounded. ]
Although I doubt we will grow to be so many in number that we would need every single room.

[It does seem like a lot of people are vanishing all at once. She wonders if it's something to start to be concerned about.]
no subject
Of course. It... hurts that our number is growing so small so quickly.

No, not at all. I have worked in a group before, and it is different, but not bad. We work to create new spells and solves problems. It is hardly as if we sit and plan massive invasions of some sort.
[ Magicians of that sort rarely got along long enough to make the plans work. ]

I can understand. I am used to it either being myself and Yfandes, or maybe myself and my aunt. Even among the Heralds, I tend to work alone.
[ Mostly because he was so much stronger than everyone else, he rarely needed the help anyways. ]

A bit, though at least this group is not... working together, all the time, at least. I think half the time we get together to complain about the Castle messing up our magic.

A little, but... bonding, in its way.

Aye... but there is enough to do with cleaning out Clow's room for the moment. His chair and books are... prodigious to say the least.
Dictated
[A pause, because he almost laughed, and that would be inappropriate]
I don't expect the Encyclopedia Britannica will be of much use, unless someone's keen on learning Earth history. Or one version there-of.
Re: Dictated
Ah, is that what they are for? Well, perhaps it might be best to donate them to the library then, do you think?
Dictated
Re: Dictated
He seemed to notate heavily inside of them, but considering who it was, I think the person reading will find more use for them than not. Do you want to come and help more them? There are... quite a few. Though it baffles me that someone could try and condense a whole world's history into a mere series of books.
Re: Dictated
Re: Dictated
That would be helpful. If it were one of two I might have been able to Fetch them, but so many is a strain on that Gift. And perhaps we could move the chair into the Chimera headquarters? I am sure it will come in handy for some mage or scholar up there. Or do you think it might go in the library too?
Dictated
I definitely think we should keep the chair for Chimera, though. If nothing else, it might make a good place to nap.
Re: Dictated
[ He chuckled at that. ]
Clow's lasting legacy - the napping chair. Fitting, I think, in some ways. Why else make a thing so comfy?

Yes, I think that will be nice. A little table beside it too, to make it properly comfortable.

Here here. Served the proper way, of course.

Well, I suppose we should get to the business of moving these encyclopedias first then the chair. Do you want to move them now?

Good, I am already here, so just let yourself in.
