Open Post: Great Hall

[When the students enter the Great Hall today, they will see it decked out in black and yellow banners, with the Hufflepuff badger in prominent display. There are also a few model badgers that are moving around

The house-elves went all out in the food, serving Hufflepuff lots of cakes and cookies and other delicious treats.

Although you are divided by your houses, it's such a great party that you can visit your friends and butt into other house conversations!]

[Whatever Quidditch actually is, if every winning house is treated to all these sweets, then Italy figures it must be a good thing! He's sitting at the table and enjoying them like it's going out of style - which is to say, adorably slowly.]

[Chie is always up to meeting new people, and this guy seems interesting and a castle resident, so she sat right next to him and give him a friendly smile and wave]

Hey there, House Buddy!

[Italy turns at the voice and looks up at Chie with big eyes. Who's this new person? He swallows his mouthful of whatever thing he's eating before he responds.]

Hello! Who are you?

I'm Chie Satonaka! From Paradisa.

[She figured that would be a good way to know if this guy is really from the castle too. If he doesn't know what Paradisa is, she could just make it up and say it's a city or something]

[He gasps.] You remember the first magic castle, too? Oh wow!

[pint_sized_carnivore]

[She gasps as well, almost surprised to know she was right all along]

Yeah, I do! I'm glad you remember. It's like a lot of the others hit their heads on something and they forgot.

[He hums!] So there could be lots more people who are from the first magic castle, but just don't know it right now? There must be an awful lot of people there...

I'm pretty sure a lot of these people aren't in the Castle. I think it makes people up to fill in spaces for world changes...

[His brow furrows.] The magic castle can make people up? Just like that?

[pint_sized_carnivore]

Yeah. It's pretty scary to think about. It makes me feel helpless against that much power if it could do that.

[pastina]

[Italy starts to shake.] Uwaaah...I don't want to think about it, it's too scary...! [He hides his face in his hands.] Way too scary!!!
