Open Post: Great Hall

[When the students enter the Great Hall today, they will see it decked out in black and yellow banners, with the Hufflepuff badger in prominent display. There are also a few model badgers that are moving around

The house-elves went all out in the food, serving Hufflepuff lots of cakes and cookies and other delicious treats.

Although you are divided by your houses, it's such a great party that you can visit your friends and butt into other house conversations!]

[at his table, Percy is eating all the food. Quidditch is a pretty cool game, in his opinion. He couldn't play himself sine it's in the air and thus in Zeus's territory, but it was fun to watch. And he's glad a team that doesn't stoop to dirty cheating managed to win. He's even got a little model badger nearby that he's letting run around under his legs]

[ ashley's just here to enjoy the festivities and the fact that someone other than slytherin won the quidditch cup. she doesn't have any vested interest in anything at this point, but she's keeping an eye out for anyone she knows. just to chill. for once.

[THIS IS ALL DUMB and he hates it. The only thing that is better than this is that the Slytherin table looks more pissed about it than he is.]

[Any other time, Ohjiro probably would have been flipping through a book or practicing a few spells (because this place was just so fascinating), but for now he was just sitting amongst the other Ravenclaws and eating at a few of the snacks. Wizard was wandering about the table, but in Ohjiro's vicinity, occasionally carrying something over for Ohjiro or just doing a dance in an empty spot.

He's considering finding the Hufflepuff team to congratulate them.]

[his own table is excited, and that's great for them, but he would rather butt into this table and sit with Phoebe. He waves to any Ravenclaws who might be sitting nearby. They're probably familiar with him; he sat at their table before]

[Whatever Quidditch actually is, if every winning house is treated to all these sweets, then Italy figures it must be a good thing! He's sitting at the table and enjoying them like it's going out of style - which is to say, adorably slowly.]

[Probably one of the most spirited students at the table, Mabel is beaming from ear to ear after that hard-earned victory. She won't lie, that was a close game won by the skin of their teeth. But they still won, and she's still going to gloat.

She may be extremely banged up and bruised after that, but she wears her battlewounds with pride.

She's currently standing on her chair and pumping a fist in the air.]

[Chie sat on the table, setting her books in front of her and slightly pushing them aside. She just sat there, observing the happy faces of her housemates after their big Quidditch victory. She's got no food with her nearby, or even a hint of interest in some munchies. She's smiling as she just watched, but she's keeping to herself... ]

[If Jennifer was not mistaken, today marked one year since she had arrived in Paradisa. That and Hufflepuff's victory- which she understood to be a pretty big deal- made her feel that she was entitled to a little overindulgence.

After downing a huge slice of cake, she found herself drawn to experiment with the Every Flavor Beans. It could be hyperbole, but then again...]

[Ben is a little less enthused with the great victory of the house. Mostly because he put a couple of people in the clinic by accident, and he's fairly certain those Slytherin guys are the vengeful sort.

So he's trying to make his lanky frame as small as possible nibbling on a cookie and hoping no one notices his existence]

[Wade's enthusiasm is polite but restrained. She appreciates a little fun, but she's not sure the Slytherins deserved the abuse they've been getting over this whole thing.

While she snacks on some juice and candy, this young Hufflepuff can be seen charming a bunch of paper flowers into Slytherin colors, of all things.]

[And who has to make a cocky entrance? This girl. In fact she flew in on her broom grinning like a maniac regardless of the injuries that Slytherin ass had given her. She still thinks he came off so much worse after that brooom stunt.]

[ Sorry, house spirit? Ken has his journal in front of him, along with several books stacked up within arms reach. He won't interrupt the festivities with any kind of party pooping - he understands that this is a celebration, after all - but he reaches over to the nearest basket of rolls with a detached intensity that leaves no room for merriment. If he joins the party, it won't have been his own idea. ]

[an interloper appears ... and a Hufflepuff, at that. in perfect honesty, he's looking for Katniss so he can congratulate her on playing well in the final game.

he doesn't quite know what he's stepping into. there is likely no better opportunity to use the phrase "nest of vipers"]

[Bitter feelings all around at the Slytherin Table, especially with this particular member of the Quidditch team. The guy that got blind-sided with a Bludger in the middle of the game. If it weren't for that, he'd know the team would have come out on top.

Under his seat is his trusty puppy Weiss, who Pixy keeps tossing down treats to. So long as they didn't have chocolate in them, he sure as hell didn't care.

[Yet another grumpy person is chilling out at the Slytherin table. That was definitely not what she expected to happen at the Quidditch Final. Still, quidditch isn't the end of the world. However, while she has a book in front of her, she's clearly casting her gaze around, looking for someone in particular as it would seem.]

[Meg is sipping coffee and providing death glares to any student from another house that so much as walks by the Slytherin table and sharp insults to anyone who dares open their mouth. She's mastered a few wandless hexes that she's trying very hard to keep under control at the moment, so she sighs, closes her eyes for a moment, then stares up at the staff table instead. Yes. Much better.]

[James looks quite a sight today. His arm was still bandaged from the first match of the year, but that was nothing compared to the beating he'd taken during the second. The bones in his shattered leg may have been mostly mended but it was still bandaged from hip to ankle and hurt a great deal - not that he was going to let on.

He shifts slightly in his seat to take some of the pressure off his ribs. Keeping his back to the Hufflepuff table he sips his juice and glares angrily at nothing.]

[Looks like Lara is the only one with 0 fucks to give about the loss, but she's not very amused about the cocky Hufflepuffs acting like they own the place just because of winning.

She's just doodling random things and eating some cookies right now. She'd read, but with her reading speed, she doesn't have anything else to.]

[sitting at her plae at the staff table, Hermione can't help but smile watching the Hufflepuffs celebrate. They really deserve the cup at least once. All in all, she's pleased with how this week has gone. Her friends got to see what Hogwarts was like, and nothing too terrible happened along the way]
