Open Post: Great Hall

[When the students enter the Great Hall today, they will see it decked out in black and yellow banners, with the Hufflepuff badger in prominent display. There are also a few model badgers that are moving around

The house-elves went all out in the food, serving Hufflepuff lots of cakes and cookies and other delicious treats.

Although you are divided by your houses, it's such a great party that you can visit your friends and butt into other house conversations!]

It was awesome! I still like chariot racing better, personally, but if I could play I'd be totally into this game.

Chariot racing? Haha, somehow, I suppose that does suit you better.

I prefer my feet on the ground, personally, so I content to cheer everyone one. I must admit I am somewhat disappointed our house was knocked out so early in the games.

Yeah, you'd think all those alternate players would've helped. But that one Hufflepuff Beater was a madman on the field. How did he not knock everybody out?

I suppose... magic? That seems a reasonable enough theory with just about everything here.

Haha, ah, you have me there. It was fascinating, learning all this week. My Talent has always just... been, I suppose. This was never a way I imagined to do magic, or its full applications as this Castle shows.

I know what you mean. Using a wand is a little weird for me, too.

It is hard to believe that someone has to use what is not much more than a stick to control their magic...

_{[ He took out his own to examine the dark wood, considering it curiously as he had most times this week whenever he was called to use it. ]}

Well, to a point I can, yes. But it is odd, since my Talent has never worked this way or relief on anything else. And I have never been able to do anything OTHER than fire, either.

Heh, I suppose I should. But I will be glad enough to have my own Talent back and fully functioning.

[Percy shrugs, tapping his goblet with his wand and refilling it with water] Now that is cool.

_{[ Another laugh comes out of Ashura and he inclines his head, admitting defeat to that point. ]}

I admit, that is indeed 'cool' as you say. No Talent like that exists in my world, not even for those blessed by Water.

_{[ He rolled his eyes, but took a glass and tapped the wand against it, saying the word. It felt odd, on his tongue, but it worked, the glass filling up and he let out a bright laugh. ]}

Well, never in all my years did I imagine I would make water do anything!
