I'm really going to miss being a witch. Too bad I had to be thirteen at the same time, but it was so incredible to be able to do all of that. It was nice to feel special for once, even if...well...everybody was special.

Oh, but there was something else I wanted to ask! Some of you might know that Clow Reed is gone and that he was the owner of the pie shop in town. He hired me a few weeks ago as a waitress to help with the re-opening and well...it's kind of hard to run a pie shop without somebody who can actually make pie.

It seems like a shame to close the place, after all the work he put into sprucing it up, so what I guess we really need is a cook. Or a baker. Something like that.

Hmph. Doesn't sound like you're giving yourself much credit there, to be honest. Surely there's something that makes you unique.

That's probably true, but there's kind of a difference between being unique and being special. One of my friends is really really smart. Like a genius. And another one is a really amazing singer. But I'm not even that. I was just an average college student.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. You did end up here after all, I imagine there's something that perhaps you just haven't realized yet.

The only thing special about me is what I've seen and done the last year or so.

Hm. See you already sound more interesting than you make yourself out to be, unless what ever happened was incredibly boring.

No, it's pretty safe to say it's very rarely a dull moment.

In the past year in a half, I think, I've been gotten the plague, worked as the secretary to the woman running for the governor of California, won the lottery, escaped from prison, got chased by dinosaurs, thrown into a competitive deathsport, and took part in at least two revolutions. Just off the top of my head.
