On a more serious note than my last entry... it's now down to myself and Dr. Tam to run the town clinic, and I could really use some help from anybody with medical expertise. Even someone to just come by once a week or so and clean up or help restock supplies and keep my files straight would be appreciated.

[She sketches a simple map to the clinic.]

As much as I hate to say it, if I don't get any volunteers, I might have to close. I'd still have a job, of course, so it wouldn't be a total loss...

[Her pen rests on the page, but she can't think of anything more to write that wouldn't sound a little selfish- namely, that she kind of likes the relative peace and privacy versus the castle.]

I don't really want to- but without more help, I can't keep things running by myself.

[He pauses for a moment, thinking through.] I'm familiar with the clinic in town. I helped Simon there a little. In May. [As if the month is significant, but it is, because of the ships they all found themselves on.] It would be a disservice for it to close.

Unfortunately, yes. We're only two people, and he divides his time between here and the castle. Of course, I could cut back on hours, too... more help would be the ideal situation, though.

[There's a long pause. Oh, she remembers May, alright.]

I would deeply appreciate anything you can offer.

Ma'im, I know some first aid, mostly bulletwounds and the like. I guess I'd be willing to help out, 'specially to keep the clinic from closing.

Great. And that's useful to know just in case of another crisis situation- I've been giving first aid lessons for that reason.

Wanna give me some kind of orientation or something? Let me know what all you want me to do? I've had a lot of spare time on my hands and I have to say, I don't like it.

Sure thing. I pretty much live in the clinic nowadays, so stop by any time. ... don't be alarmed if there's a sheepdog waiting outside the door who wants to inspect you first, though.

Dr. Banner, right? Would you feel comfortable picking up a few shifts here, maybe? It wouldn't be anything complicated- mostly people come here for first aid or cold remedies or the like if they live in town and don't want to go back to the castle.

[This is said dryly. He's still nowhere near the mood for interacting after the discovery of his loss, but duty calls.]

While I may be full time in the castle's clinic, some of that time could be spent going between the two.

Well... The only medical stuff I know is from your first aid class, but I don't think that's going to cut it. But, hey, even if I'm no doctor, I might be able to help with everything else - though, you'll have to show me where all this stuff is supposed to go. Organization is, uh, well it's not exactly my strong point.

Not a problem- and first aid can be of plenty use here, too. I don't see too many serious injuries, mostly people wanting first aid and cold remedies and the like. They just like coming here for privacy reasons or if they hate being in the castle.
