Back home, I had a pet rock. But here there are living animals. Me and another boy tried to get a pet when we were in the dinosaur world, but they were too fast. In this last world, kids had really cool pets like rats and owls. So I was thinking it was about time I had one!

I've been taking really good care of the truffula tree. I bet I could take care of an animal!

Why can't you be happy with a hamster or a goldfish or something.

Dogs are popular but she doesn't want ANOTHER child she likes to have one because forever scared now. It's already difficult enough to be around Arya or Henry without peeing in her dress. ]

Perhaps one wish would be allowed. There are those who wish for young animals...why ought you differ any? You should be able to wish for any animal you like, so long as they exist somewhere.

[bar-ba-loots and swoony swans seem more like animals who he could play with, but wouldn't want as a pet. He liked those koi fish, but he would just visit them. He wouldn't get to play]
